Chelsea - Initiations & Harmony?

It may well have gone under the radar over the past week, amidst the ongoing John Terry storm, the arrivals of Mr Ancelotti, Daniel Sturridge, Yuri Zhirkov, Ross Turnbull, and the squad's recent departure to the United States, however twelve promising youngsters have had their dreams come true by being handed scholarship forms at Stamford Bridge.

They are:

James Ashton
Billy Clifford
Aziz Deen-Conteh
Bobby Devyne
Rohan Ince
Billy Knott
Milan Lalkovic
Josh McEachran
Philipp Prosenik
Anton Rodgers
Ben Sampayo
George Saville

Notable mentions include that of Anton Rodgers, who is the son of recently-departed youth coach, and now Reading manager, Brendan Rodgers.

For the dozen starlets, the hard work begins here as they work to prove themselves worthy of a professional contract with the Blues.

However, there was some time for the newcomers to let their hair down recently at Cobham, as the first-team organised a dance-off initiation for them.

It has become somewhat of a Chelsea tradition to initiate any new arrivals at the club, dating back to the days of skipper Dennis Wise, and John Terry has taken it upon himself to uphold those long-held beliefs.

We await news of how Mr Ancelotti, along with Sturridge, Zhirkov and Turnbull perform when they are forced to sing in front of the squad during a dinner meal in pre-season.

However, if your thirst for initiation cannot wait that long, then devour in the below clip, courtesy of Chelsea TV, of the dancing youngsters taking their bow in front of first-team members and backroom staff at Cobham.

And pay particular attention to club captain JT, who appears to be content and loving the entertainment being provided by the kids. A far cry from a wantaway mercenary, some might say.

Your sure are not repeating yourself there daspecial ;-)? I think Marko Mitrovic also have gotten his first professional contract.
Lindy
Whoops, the page is a little fecked at the moment - the story is there 5 times. Watch out for Philipp Prosenik. Heard it here first!
Gleeson_23
All sorted, folks! It was such dramatic news that I had to say it five times over :-)

And check out one of the kid's 'running-up-the-wall' move! I can't wait to see what kind of goal celebrations he's got in his locker!
daspecial1
Now can you sort out the poll daspecial. It has been kidnapped by our friendly enemies. It was over 70% Champions until some hours last night, when it really changed.... Remove the poll and never mention it again I think....;-)

interesting to see Brendan's lad in the mix!

Who is in charge of Arnesen's old role?

Chelsea always seem to habe such great bonding but the club are very poor at publicising the image. I think Ancelloti will carry on from where Hiddink left and continue to improve our image to non chelsea fans. As much as mourinho was a legend, he didnt do us any favours with the neutrel fans of England. The future is looking bright and i wish everz one would stop pointing out how few people come through the acadamy as who was the last man utd or liverpool youth player to come through?
The big-G
That Billy kid's wall move was awesome. Its heartening to see DD and JT jumping over the kid.Anyway all the best and lets hope some of them can become true Chelsea legends.
blueKnightz09
Do anybody know aprox. how old these guys are?
BlueDane
Good luck to them.
RadioactiveD
Rohan Ince is the most exciting guy in the bunch, in my opinion. He is a defender who plays for more maturely than his age suggests he should. If he continues developing as he is, he'll be one for the future!
The_Legend_Of_Zola
All these kids are 16 and 92-93 born. Missing from the list above is Danny Mills (centre back of Ghanaian descent) and Jhon Mills (striker from Uruguay).
Squiddy
Yep, I've been observing Ince too. He's a one to watch out. Philipp Prosenik and Milan Lalkovic are going to be great strikers if they develop well. Particularly Milan, if he can learn to be more unselfish. Prosenik is a typical centre forward. An European Drogba.

blueknightz09 - I hope you're referring to Billy Knott, and not Billy Blood's attempt at the wall move :-)
