Chelsea - Stoch Stars in FC Twente title Triumph!

On a day when Chelsea moved a step nearer t bringing the Premier League title back to SW6, one of our loan players was having a bit of a celebration himself.

Miroslav Stoch, who has had a fantastic season FC Twente, collected a Dutch title medal as his side held off the challenge of Ajax to take the title.

Stoch played a pivotal role in FC Twente`s win this afternoon, scoring one of the important goals, a clip of which can be found below.

Our congratulations go to Miroslav on a fantastic season on loan.

He looks too cosy there, seriously can we convince him to come back & promise him 1st team footy which he's gotten so used to?

Miroslav Stoch- The next star out of the academy, mark my words. Cannot wait to see him play for us, I just cannot wait. A nice read about Miro- http://www.thenational.ae/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20100501/SPORT/704309874/1173

32 matches played, 10 goals scored and 9 assists- Not bad, eh? :D
JT_daniel
Of course we can, C24/7. He just needs to be told that he's wanted in the team, which I'm sure Carlo will.

Defining moment ■ September 20, 2009 FC Twente have started the season well, but there are still some doubts over Steve McClaren, their new manager. The former England head coach has gone with youth, among them a tiny winger named Miroslav Stoch, on loan from Chelsea and, while he is something of a cult hero, at 19 he is still a bit raw. But this day, away to Heerenveen, the little man silences the critics. In the first half, he receives the ball wide left and plays a one-two with Blaise Nkufo, cuts into the box and slips a shot past the goalkeeper. The encore comes in the second half. This time he races in from the left to latch on to a defence-splitting pass, accelerates across the area and then conjures up a brilliant, off-balance right-footed diagonal finish. With skill like that, the future looks good. So much so that some wonder if Chelsea, a club seemingly light on wide options, made a mistake in letting him go."

Thats all I want to hear.Know that our youth players are held in high regard & Carlo (telephonically) tells them they're wanted.Give Stochy the no.7 shirt.
Chelsea24/7
Nah mate, that's reserved for El Kun! :)
JT_daniel
I really hope he comes back. Hell of a talent!!
blueKnightz09
Na joey's holding onto Kun's 10 or abramovich is feeling like giving out the 25 lol

stoch wil be at chelsea next season. he's been outstandin ther but at chelsea he'll be better. we just need a good striker n a rite back.
blue blood sahil
Nice piece Jt.I too remember McClaren thanking us for the loan & assuring us that he's in good hands. One thing is steve stayed true to his word & gave stoch the game time.I say we should give el kunino the no.25.He's got at least a decade to match up to zola,if thats possible.
Chelsea24/7
I'm excited and i feel this is a good premonition for next weeks drama but i think Stochy should have 1 more season with Twente and if it's a good one he'll be back in SW6 a better, stronger, experienced player with an aura you get akin to when a player is just signing for the club.
mikelampard
Mclaren please take Di Santo and Jack Cork
mikelampard
Nice idee mikelampard
haigh_for_7
well kun maybe the only signing this summer along with a midfielder ..stoch is way better than joe cole what a goal

Nah, one more season with Twente? He's got to adapt to the prem league, mikelampard- I'd prefer him to go for loan to a Prem league club. McLaren's most likely to go to Fulham or West Ham, so I would assume he would like Stoch back.. and good call mate- Di Santo and Corky would benefit. And anybody's been following Jack Cork's performances lately? That's the third MoTM he's picked up! Even though it was just a loss (expected), but his tireless running, breaking up attacks and contributing in attack have made him a firm starter. Interesting next season for him because he is clearly Prem league level. He's Chelsea through and through too, being a local lad, so I assume Chelsea won't let him go that easily..
JT_daniel
@mikelampard : i agree with ur second idea fully. I think that di santo wud need it more that cork tho. I wud want cork to be in the prem, or maybe as a utility man in our team. As for ur 1st opinion, i dont agree. Reason being if he stays one more season i think it will backfire. First of all he may become all to acquainted with life in holland and may not be so fond of coming back to us. One more season with them wud also mean one more season without us. This spells "DANGER". In the sense that next season, a time of rebuilding, wud see some changes to our team in personnel and maybe too in style of play. This wud mean we wud depend less or more on wingers. The former is self-explanatory. With the latter, it wud mean that we wud seek to acquire a right winger, either by the transfer market or from our ranks. This wud be seen as either competition or as a detterent for stoch. Cuz he wud be thinkin if he's a regular y wud he want to trade his sure starting line up for a place on the bench or a not so guaranteed place. However, this is chelsea we're talking about so he must decide, and so must our club, what his future holds.
blue_thru&thru
I'll second that, B_T&T. I would think he's already swooned by first team footy, which is why I want him to return to Chelsea soon and Carlo to assure him of his inclusion in his plans for next year.
JT_daniel
since the Dutch season is over, can Stoch comes back to rejoin Chelsea for the last two matches ?
My Blood is Blue
He should be brought back to England. No question about it. If needed, loan him out to another PL club.
blueKnightz09
Better hope his contract is watertight in case he has a really good world cup
jabbathemutt007
I like the loan option, but only after he's signed a new, long term contract. As I said before, McLaren is already being courted by West Ham and possibly Fulham, so if that comes by, I'm sure he will have no qualms about taking him back. He's just got another year left in his contract, so it's important that he signs up.. And MBiB- Nice suggestion, dunno how far that's possible.. Interesting..
JT_daniel
he goes on loan and not only performs well but also wins the league!!!!!!!!! cant wait to see him playing for us.
kingDROG
hope he comes back . though i may anger some people here , but i wud love too see sinclair and di santo back coz i just don't believe sam allardyce and roberto martinez are the type of managers who like to " grow up youth " . i think sinclair and di santo are good players also bertrand . they shud return at CFc

Turnbull, Bertrand, Mancienne, Bruma, Hutchinson, Sinclair, Matic, Cork, Stoch, Kakuta, Sturridge

I hope Stoch gets a good shout to fit in next season. He may have the pace and skill to make a diff'ce on the wings IMA. If they conclude that he wont have a place next season, maybe a loan till Dec may be order. But I like what I've seen so far of Stoch and he could be an excellent spark off the bench if he doesnt start much.
