Chelsea - Bruma Gets International Call-Up!

Bruma goes first and my guess is Kakuta's next!

Today Jeffery Bruma received his first senior international call up for Holland which isn't a surprise considering his qualities and Hollands lack of defensive talent.

Holland could really use a big centre-back with leadership qualities.

Just as France could do with creativity and class in the middle of the park and I believe the next youngster that will get a call up for international duty will be GAEL KAKUTA, our very next superstar.

Who do you think will be our next young star to get into their respective international team and who will be the most successful?

Well done to Jeff for recieving a call up to the full Holland side agree Kakuta could be next.

Given that the entire French World Cup squad is to be dropped, then I'd think Kakuta had an excellent chance of a call up. Well done Bruma. Surely if he's good enough to maybe get a full Holland cap now he's good enough for us to give him a chance, surely?!

SB - Have you followed the U19 WC? I'd like to know how good Kakuta's performance has been so far. When he played for the reserves last season, I have so admit that I was a little disappointed, as his performances never lived up to the super-talent-status he has among our fans. At least that's the impression I had.
chelsey
chelsey - he looks to be in excellent form. he is starting ti be like he used to with taking on players and setting up chances with ease. but i think he still has a few more gears left in the future. he is the heart of the france team, and he has that that his best position is behind the striker.
JVG_94
Kakuta for U-19 Golden ball and a future French Legacy and Bruma to become Holland's greatest ever Defender.... yeah, call me Paul Mach 2 ;)
maka4chelsea
Thanks JVG, so is Kakuta already good enough to feature in our starting eleven regularly?:)
chelsey
chelsey - i believe i speak for many people in saying Kakuta should start for chelsea. He would give us a creativity and an excitment to our starting 11. barcelona did it with messi and i might be OTT by saying soon he will be better than messi.

Echoing the sentiments of Spanish Blue's call for Bruma to be given a decent (which I believe will happen), I sincerely hope it happens with Kakuta also.. I remember when we just signed him as a 16 year old, we played a tournament in the summer of '07, and I knew from the highlights he'd make it - I've been dying for it to happen ever since. He's a cut above the rest!

Haven't seen anything of the U19s unfortunately chelsey but from what people on here have said (not necessarily that objective!), he has found form again. Like you, I feel he stalled a bit last year having looked so promising. Needs nurturing carefully but genuinely has the talent to be a star I think.
SpanishBlue
i think he was still recovering from the bad broken ankle that affected him the season before!

maka4chelsea, if you add "and they grow up to become chelsea legends", then i would say amen :) i don't want them doing a stoch

That would explain it merlin!

Nice to see some lads getting recognised.Van aanholt must be feeling a little hard done with jeff getting all the attention. We need to add some more brits in the ranks for call ups though.Mancienne,Ryan & cork should be kept for that 25 man quota, hopefully.

And they grow up to be Chelsea's greatest Stars... there ;)

If only!

Alex is injured. Carvalho may be gone sooner rather than later (to be honest you never know these things, but I don't want a player who wants to be elsewhere, if the running or swimming quote is true then he should be given leave to pack his bags asap). Anyone fancy a Terry-Bruma centreback duo in the Community Shield game?
