£100 Million Jackpot!

In beating Barcelona and reaching the Champions League Final, Chelsea Football Club will receive a mind-boggling £45 million purely from television coverage rights.
There will also be a further £2.8 million thrown into the pot if we beat Bayern.

As well as the £100m, there's also the opportunity to add more trophys next season ie super cup and the club world cup. That's an amazing 7 trophies we could play in.

after the season we had im ecstatic just to get into the CL final and FA cup final haha.We got such a good chance to win both but i wont get too confident just yet!

So last season we earned £36 million by reaching the quarter final of the champions league but yet we recorded losses of £67.7 million.remember we spent £71million in january for torres and luiz.so cancelling the losses of £67.7 million with the £71 million.But this seson we would earn £45 million for showing up in the final alone and it can be doubled by others like merchandise,ticket sales etc.,so considering we atleast earn £90 million,also we didnt spend big in january,do we have any chance of breaking even.can anyone light me.

let me get this straight..is the 45m just for getting to the final or is this out of the total loot for this seasons champions league campaign from UEFA..my impression is that it is the former meaning there is still the money UEFA pays us for playing in the tournament separate from the TV rights money for reaching the finals..This is the big reason why participating in this tournament yearly quickly seperates the boys from the men..the money earned is just stupendous and it is why that loveable miser Arsene Wenger has winning trophies as secondary in his list of priorities. As he is such a stickler for balancing the books he has made it his mission to keep the gunners in the Champions league all 16 yrs he has been with them and it is pretty certain he,ll pull it of again despite their horrendous start to the season. We have to qualify for next years tournament by any means possible..ideally by getting a top 4 finish but failing that we have to win the final come may 19..the consquences of no champions league football for even one year for a club like ours are best only imagined.

Yes, d board would be wise this time. it is an opportunity to spend big on rebuilding & still balance d book cos of FFP. but we must get signings right, it is very important.... thinking of paying spurs 30mil for modric would be foolish now, there are better options. sigurdsson on loan at swansea would be a great buy, he is talent but i guess we overlook such players until man utd get them for cheap & he turns to another valencia.

I hope we win bcos winning has many advantages such as financial,bragging rights..Winning will make our players add value when we sell them as champions league winners! And besides we will attract more world class players..But can bayern be beaten?
