Who Is Wagging the Dogs Tail?

Who Is Wagging the Dogs Tail?

Is it just a coincidence that the tabloid press have once again, after his poorest performance of the season, decided to plunge the knife between John Terry`s shoulder blades?

Or is it more of a case of having a new man in charge of England but we`re about to see who really wags the dogs tail when it comes to English football?

This morning there are major doubts about whether John Terry will be selected for the England squad for the forthcoming Euro 2012 Finals.

Apparently, it is being questioned as to whether, with the court case still to be heard, John Terry and Rio Ferdinand should both be selected and what effect it could have on team harmony.

Therefore, it is being inferred that one or the other will be chosen with that one being Rio in case JT`s inclusion upsets any of the other squad members.

And there was I thinking we live in a country whereby you are presumed innocent until proven to be guilty!

As for the initial question posed at the head of this article, I`m edging towards the latter suggestion, the one about questioning who is wagging the dogs` tail!

Damn Terry, just retire, England doesn't deserve you. Show these fecking spoilt brats. Do they really think they'll win the Euros with Rio and Lescott at the back? Come on!

If he is dropped perhaps he 'should' retire FrLamp. He has taken enough crap from the FA over the years and has always come back and given his all and time after time has proved to be the difference maker in England matches. If he is dropped, I would be so annoyed at the FA, Hodsgon and the Ferdinands that I may find my support absteining from supporting England. Quite frankly, if they treat Terry and Capello like they have, they deserve to crash and burn as a result. No good deserves to come of this, especially not for the FA

Merlin that story would likely have been written before the aberration at Anfield so more likely a case of kick him when he's on a FA Cup high. I've long since given up on expecting fair treatment from society for our skipper but still no sane person, picking on form over the season, would put Ferdinand in front of JT. If he doesn't go for whatever reason then I'm sure a summer's rest can only benefit him & us.

They not only deserve to crash and burn, they will do just that, R Ferdinand is finished anyway now. Better if no CFC players go then none is tainted and they come back fit and ready to get us back in the top four next season.

JT and lamps not being picked for the Euros will be blessings in disguise...they can rest up and not pick up any injuries before the new season and they will not have to face the inquest after England again underperform at a major tournament which i know is what is going to happen...i feel for Roy because he is going to be the fall guy when it happens. In fact England getting out of the group stages is no gimme..once and if they do however i dont see England escaping the first elimination game..reaching the quarters will be a major achievement given the shoddy lead up and preparations thus far.

JT is one of the most humble personality I've seen.Nobody will take Craps the like England throws at him and yet he'll answer them when called upon.'you don't value what you've got' rings true. Its to our benefit if England decides to dig its grave.I always support England at the Euros cos' of Terry,J. Cole,Ash and Lampard but now I'll start looking at spain.

If this is Hodgson's choice, so be it. England's loss, our prolonged gain.

I dont think Roy will have any say in this matter and this is why Capello walked. Roy is a nice guy..too nice to be England Boss..the FA will play him like a used fiddle and then leave the mess that results for him to take the blame.

I understand, though disagree with, the assertion that they can't play together. Sheringham and Andy Cole anyone? What's mind-boggling is the idea that you'd choose Rio over Terry. One of my best friend's is a die-hard ManU fan, knows his stuff pretty well and would trade Rio for Terry in a second. Look at what's happened with Vidic out. Rio can't get the job done without him. Barring the miracle at Nou Camp we've looked $h!t in defence whenever Terry's been out. I want to know what happened against Scousers though. That couldn't have been Terry. The FA probably have the real John Terry tied up somewhere.
