Going Dutch?

Going Dutch?

Salomon Kalou has, in the press this morning, given the clearest indication yet that he could be exiting Stamford Bridge this summer.

With their expected to be a summer exodus from Stamford Bridge, Kalou, ahead of the Champions League Final, has remarked about reported interest from the Dutch club, Feyenoord,

"Feyenoord can call me any time - they are the first name on my list."

"Let me win the Champions League final and then I will think about Feyenood. Yes, I`m serious."

Back from whence he came then!

See ya later Kalou (or not, preferably not)!!
18/05/2012 15:31:00
I wish him is time for him and us to move on in our seperate ways..he has always been a hard worker and good servant of the club..sadly he just doesnt have skill set to be a starter for a club of our caliber. Thanks Salomon and best wishes.
18/05/2012 15:41:00
as much as i used to slag him off, ass kalouless he is, i actually love him... put in some some exceptional TEAM performances in recently and deserves lots of credit for his attitude over the years!
18/05/2012 15:48:00
Hopefully Marin is replacing Malouda. If Kalou is to go, either we need to see someone step up (Danny, Kakuta, De Bruyne, Piazon?) or we do need to make another signing. RW is a weak spot.
18/05/2012 15:53:00
But I have no bad words for Kalou. He's done his best. It's just that his best wasn't what we were all hoping for.
18/05/2012 15:54:00
I feel like I should add one last thought: I like Ramires at RW in our current system. If we continue to use it I'm happy with him there.
18/05/2012 15:56:00
I'm tellin ya, Marin right, De Bruyne left, Mata middle. Kakuta and Piazon in subs.
18/05/2012 16:25:00
Ramirez and A NEW DM (e.g. Witsel/Gabriel Pires) in the two DM positions.
18/05/2012 16:26:00
@radio as well as ramires is doing at rm (and i know his performances have been world class), do u not think he has more potential at cm?
18/05/2012 16:38:00
iv always thought what ramires best position could be... i think overall his best position is in the middle of the park. However he does lack a bit with his first touch which can be very costly at cm. This is less costly on the wing, where he can exploit his pace even more, but he does lack the skills a lot of world class wingers have... Not that i would play him there, but even before the barca game i thought his attributes suited rb best (potential wise)... Anyway I'm just so happy that we have a player like ramires, and i can confidently say that there is no other player in the world like him and could cause ANY team problems
18/05/2012 16:45:00
I think we need a RW & LW to help Marin and Ramirez, Debruyne and Kakuta are like Mata they are not wingers they are better off in CAM...btw i think Marin was Anelka's replacement we need two wingers to replace the Kaloudas
18/05/2012 16:47:00
@Luiz,, he does not have the creativity, vision and first touch to be a CM....i think he is better off on the wings, If he improves his crossing and work on his skills he will end up being world class cos he knows how to find space for himself, he gets into good scoring positions, he scores unbelievable goals, he has bag of pace and strenght, he tracks back.....he can become our very own Valentia, afterall Valentia is not that skillful but he is ranked among the best wingers in the world
18/05/2012 16:54:00
I definitely see how good he can be on the right... maybe its just me but i think his potential as a box to box cm is the most exciting... would defiantly require a creative partner....Also big rumours on that hulk could take over rw!
18/05/2012 17:01:00
I've always thought Kalou would be heading to a top side in Turkey, but I can certainly see this being true.
18/05/2012 17:23:00
Luiz: hard to gauge Ramires' potential. He's very dangerous at RW--and he can get goals there. Not an obvious choice but I never expected Iva to thrive at RB either!
18/05/2012 17:47:00
Now all we need is for PSG & Carlo to come in for Malouda. He did like him, didn't he? ;)
18/05/2012 18:48:00
Thank u kalou....He must leave even if he scores the winner tommorow.....He does not have anything to offer anymore....I think kakuta should be recalled to compete with marin and piazon at LW......We have that wing covered....Mata can alternate with KDB and davila in the hole......Danny,Ramires and ocampos for RW....Torres and cavani as strikers.....Ivanovic and azipilueta at RB.....I think a good coach would make this team cohesive and world beaters
18/05/2012 19:05:00
It is ever looking likely Kalou could be on his way out IMO after reading that.
18/05/2012 21:23:00
Kalou lost potential on the wings. He looked awsome when he ran at players. He was supposed to be world class. He should have tried to emulate Eto'o.

I think Chelsea (and probably Manchester United) fans would agree Falcao being signed by both was a mistake, his Monaco coach merely thinks the Premier League move was his problem.
