Has Pratini had a word with him?

Has Pratini had a word with him?

Apparently Sepp Blatter has asked Bayern Munich's president Franz Beckenbauer to come up with an alternative to the 'tragedy' of the penalty shoot-out!

Blatter is quoted as having said,

'Football can be a tragedy when you go to penalty kicks. Football should not go to one to one. When it goes to penalty kicks football loses its essence.'

What he really means is

'Chelsea won and my hoppo Michel wants to find a way to make it harder for them to do it again. Maybe we could have a (German) umpire to work out who's won on points if scores are level after extra time, or dare I say it, if Chelsea are ahead only on away goals or perhaps even 1-0 up against (Michel's idea) of the run of play'?

when chelsea were defeated by united on penalty shoot out in moscow nothing was said, why now.madrid lose to the same bayern on penalty nothing was said.chelsea scores a controversial goal against spurs everyone was crying for goal line technology.now my question is,what makes there people believed that the other option won't favour chelsea still? As if those things are there to favour chelsea.

The timing of this is incredible, unbelievable, hysterical. It genuinely isn't paranoia, they really do hate us!!! Funny how no one considered it a tragedy 4 years ago.

What really have been our offence with all this hatred? So BLATTER has suddenly forgotten how we suffered in the hands of liverfool with 'ghostgoals' and losing out on penalties some season's back. This comment have really, really re-enforced my belief that the 2009 robbery was a script written by uefa and played out by that bald-headed temite called ovrebo. Why, blatter why???

For all the guys who said when i was writing about this previously that i was just paranoid..now you see what i have seen for years. Blatters tirade yesterday was laughable and comical. Penalty shoot outs have been part and parcel of the fabric of the international game for nearly half a century..we have seen many great matches decided by them..depending on who you support they bring great elation or painful remonstration..never in all this time has a FIFA president come out to say we need to change this. Now thank goodness Bayern won on a penalty shoot out against Joses Real just the round before ..nothing was said. Then suddenly Chelsea wins on a penalty shoot out with every single odd stacked against them and all hell breaks loose. Not only did they truncate the standard champions league celebrations, pomp and paegentry but now Blatter is actually commissioning Franz Beckenbauer (A Bayern legend..surprise surprise) to find a solution to the injustice of penalties. If Blatter and Platini were not in positions of such power this whole thing would be beyond comical. I have been saying it for years for all who care to listen...these guys are as corrupt as the most corrupt politicians you can imagine. Their opposition to no brainer issues like goal like technology and use of video replay refs has absolutely nothing to do with any love for the so called "human element" of the game...their opposition is that it brings objectivety and truth to the game..These guys want to be able to determine who win these competitions..they want to remain as king makers who pick their favorites and we have seen it happen again and again. I am glad the FA is going ahead to test goal line technology on its own irrespective of what UEFa does..the only way i see to paralyze these corrupt old men and their corruption laden organizations is to lead the revolution to create alternatives..this can at least happen in Europe where there a re a few powerful FAs that can stand up to UEFA. One final word...i think Blatter and Platini are simply fooling themselves if they think the Kaiser will come up with any plan to change established history..Franz is a student of the game..he knows that penalty shoot outs only arise when a team does not settle issues in regulation time and if there are any group of players who have taken the art of penalty shoot out execution to a science it is the germans..He will know that trying to change the rules now would be nothing more than sour grapes and i think De Kaiser and much of the Bayern hierachy are actually bigger than that because they realize that 9 times out of 10 if a german team is involved in a penalty shoot out they win. Last saturday they just ran into a team of destiny that played the game of their collective lives.

At least Kaiser Franz shot him down and said it was simply a stupid suggestion to look towards something else like a toss of a coin to decide football games. He will not take that assignment. Still Blatter sure reaches new lows in terms of intelligence, and yes just about everything else. Football will be greatly served when that gnome disappears forever.

At least Fifa have finally given in and allows goal line technology being tested now. Heard that it will be in place for the England-Belgium game. Might be a bit hard though to get the players to try to make a no-goal or goal just to test it.

Not to worry me since we can prove it by retaining the same and become the first to do it in history.
