The Lucky 7 Challenge

With the season now over, we`re looking to keep this site rumbling along through the close season.

So what better way than to get you, this sites most valuable asset, involved!

So here are 7 questions, we`d like you to answer about the season just gone and, if you possibly can, we`d like answers that are a couple of sentences long to add some spice to the series.

All answers left in the comments section will not be featured as an article!

Here we go then:-

1 - Best two Chelsea moments of the 2011 / 2012 Season?

2 - Worst Chelsea moment of the 2011 / 2012 Season?

3 - Best Chelsea goal of the season?

4 - Your player of the season?

5 - Best individual performance by a Chelsea player?

6 - Your choice as Chelsea`s next manager?

7 - Your hopes for next season?

Thank you in advance for your participation and please be patient when it comes to the editor (me), publishing your responses. As with our classic Tell Us About Yourself series, we expect an influx of e-mails.

As usual, all correspondence should be sent to JUVENILED40@HOTMAIL.COM

KTBFFH!!!!!!!!!!

I hope it is not another 'robinho Saga" .. eden is on his way to conbham guys
indian_blue
Chelsea don't print the shirts - till he signs completely. It is emabrassiing , with Eden there is every chance . So hold on
indian_blue
5-6 trophies isn't as impossible as it sounds, community shield, super cup, club world cup, carling cup, fa cup are all realistic. Who knows we could have an amazing year in the premier league and champions league. Not that we will :P, but I suppose I would take a close challenge for the premier league without winning compared to a carling cup, community shield or european super cup.

I wish i am on a P.C.....But..My best goal was rammy's cheeky lob, drogba's against spurs came close....Mata against arse or manure? Manager rdm for sure......Expectations next season....Chelsea being the èfirst team to win the Ucl back to back.....And if roman gets us hazard and hulk together...I'l never question his wisdom in football next season
Desmondadonis
I've got a feeling this could be another Robinho stunt.

1) Chelsea winning the Champions League and Torres rounding Valdes to put the result beyond doubt coupled with Gary Neville's celebrations. 2) De Gea's save of Mata's free kick, how he got that I still don't know! And Terry's slip against Arsenal. 3) Ramires goal versus Barca for the pure calmness of the chip. 4) League wise Mata, Champions League I'd have to pip for Ashley Cole ahead of Didier purely because he was everywhere in the games against Barca and Bayern. 5) Torres vs QPR, I know it had no significance, but it reminded me of him at his best and long may it continue! 6) RDM, he deserves his chance I think with a pre season under his belt and a few signings he'll be able to put his own stamp on things, remember Mk Dons and West Brom didn't play defensive football. 7) Win the Prem, retain the champions league, and most importantly sign Eva Carneiro onto a long term contract, when things were poor a quick glance at the bench still put a little smile on my face!
Splint1976
Looks like Eden Hazard's coming to Chelsea although the way he's carrying on he's in danger of becoming the LeBron James of football. Why the need for all these mysterious tweets?
CobhamBlue
Hey Lebron James is awesome
AMLang
I'll post my thoughts along tonight :)

Lets not get our hopes high, believe it when it is officially confirmed......btw, i want us to get both Hulk and Hazard..
SameX
All he said was see you later, does n't say he's announcing anything today just that he's made up his mind, although I've heard a press conference to be called by Chelsea later.... Who knows!

Best moment? If i can combine the crazy header& the winning penalty and the celebrations that followed in the Champions league final than that is 1. The second is Everyone running over to Torres after he scored - not the goal, but the fact that we had beaten Barcelona on aggregate. Amazing

I'll get these questions to you soon, Merlin, along with the tell us about yourself questions too. I've been very busy this month but I'm free of exams so I can take some time to get my responses in to you.

Roberto Di Matteo for all of the above.

Eden Hazard made his decision. He will continue his career on the side of London, in the Blues of Chelsea. A decision that ends a lengthy series that lasted nearly a month, and who have sent the young Belgian international to the four corners of Europe. Eden Hazard has finally chosen the club he would change next season. And trends were so good, because the young Belgian prodigy has decided to engage with Chelsea. It's been almost a year Hazard was sent across the European continent, only to see the list in recent months to reduce Premier League clubs. Then he announced he would give his decision after the game between Belgium and England, the now former player LOSC recanted and announced on Twitter Monday morning he would give his decision final in the afternoon. But it is finally unveiled the RMC that future destination of the attacking midfielder. At Chelsea, Hazard will be endangered sportingly for the first time in many years. Still smoldered in the LOSC, the former protégé of Rudi Garcia will have to acclimate to a new culture, a new way to play, a new language. And this is not always easy, as evidenced by the late adaptation of Karim Benzema to Real Madrid. For it is not the talent which fail to Hazard to succeed in a new club. Elected twice best player in Ligue 1 to 21 years, the Belgian is one of those rare players called in Italian the "Furioclass". But he must come to face the English tabloids, often very hard, and it opens quickly to his new teammates, not to end up lonely. Now Eden is no longer in his garden.

i got this from a belgian site, it was aheadline http://www.sport.fr/football/ligue-1-hazard-choisit-finalement-chelsea-264910.shtm

Meanwhile Jose's trying his best to scupper the Hulk-to-Chelsea deal.
Carefree_1990
This comes after the very obvious attempts to unsettle Ramires and Ivanovic. #old turkey buzzard

1) FA,CL Glories. 2) Loosing to Arsenal and Liverpool. 3) Ramires chip vs Barca. 4) Ramires 5) Drogba 6) RDM 7) To win every single trophy we play for (its not to much to ask for, right?:), In regards to Hazard picking to sign for Chelsea, this shows exactly why CL competition is so important to a club. With all the riches on offer at *****y, Great Manager and stability at Manure, his choice to sign for CFC was attracted only for the sole reason of us being the European Champions ))) (can never get tired of hearing it!!!) With Debryne, and Marin coming in, and possibly even Hulk, along with Hazard (which will hopefull spell and end to our giggs wanna be Malouda), with Torres to finally find his golden scoring boots, our attack will be easily as lethal as anyone's on the planet. With so many trophies to play for next season, including the UEFA Super Cup (which i badly want CFC to win it) will probably start shaping our clubs dynasty in world football, and being present to witness this glory will be magnificent to say the least, with hopefully the right manager this time to lead us toward all this glory. We as a club has something special right now going for us, unlike any other club at the moment including Barca/Madrid/ and *****y with the right choices by our Board and Roman, we are able to become the next Barca/Madrid/Milan in terms of being the power house and elite club of world football, if we people who are making the decisions at the club can make them with less errors this time we will all witness true greatness coming from Chelsea FC, and i'm for true excited (to say the least) for whats waiting for us ahead in the near future, and no sore losers spurs and that you never win anything fans can ever that away from us.

@Carefree_1990, I think Real Madrid interest in Hulk rumour was handi work of Hulk's agent to make chelsea pay more.
RayBell
Could be, RayBell. But hell, it always has to be Jose.
Carefree_1990
he was asked if jose was at denmark/Brasil game to watch Hulk, the agent's reply was...'Jose didnt come here for a walk', another rumour has it Jose was actually at the game to watch lucas moura.
RayBell
1) beating man city 2-1 we bullied the team who bullied the EPL, winning CL 2)another manager getting sacked, drogba leaving chelsea (it had to happen but definately a sad thing) 3) ramires against barca...it was sensational...no one expected it...even ramires wouldnt have thought of it 4)player of the season- ivanovic.... 5)drogba 6)joachim leow 7) i want every other team to wish to play the chelsea way... i just want our club to develope our unique philosphy and not to copy any oher team

If any one want to "re-live" the victory read this http://www.chelseafc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10268~2790889,00.html It will be difficult not to have moisture eyes after reading this, I challenge that . If you manage then either you are not chelsea fan or just a ROCK . Check ur self !! Few from the page - WHERE ARE YOU WHEN WE WON CL I watched the game in Tripoli, I was yelling at Didier to score, "just one kick!" When he scored I ran to the TV and kissed the screen. The Libyans called Allah Ackbar (God is Great)."Dedicated to my friend Feras, a blues fan and 20-year-old ambulance medic in Misrata, a brave brave young man. He was killed by a bullet in the last days of the war in an ambulance near Sabratha. Chris Stephen People who don't understand or like football can never understand the pure joy it can provide! I feel so sorry for them !!!! Malcolm Newing I watched the game in Istanbul surrounded by German tourists peeking through my fingers. When Drogba scored the winning penalty I ran down the street jumping up and down shouting "Yes Yes!" and scaring a few women I nearly ran into. 2 days later people we met were still asking if I was the Chelsea fan who celebrated the full length of the street Jimi Francis In a bar of only Bayern supporters, I, wearing my Drogba jersey proudly, screamed "CHELSEA!!" while all sat in silence. Spencer Thompson I bowed in fear. Dumfounded in victory. European Champions? Tears of joy ran down my cheeks. I celebrated till daybreak. I closed my hands tightly and said "score, score, score ...". Then I just screamed "yeah" and tried to jump sitting, recovering a ACL surgery. (I went to the living room for the first time three weeks after the surgery, just to see the game) Catarina

Chelsea Fc will be a big team to beat this coming season since it is like we are looking for the future with the best future players available in the market
Kendemsblue
Indian_blue...Trolls like @mq dont understand the intricasies and passion of football they keep insulting the old legends who ensured that this victory and excitement of being able to bid for world class players for our club....Here is a link on what the old guard of man utd are doing.... http://www.tribalfootball.com/articles/joyce-giggs-scholes-ideal-role-models-man-utd-youngsters-3202911
Desmondadonis
And here is another point on what i said about keeping rdm as coach...Apparently @mq doesnt know anything abt rdm yet he is the first person to ßslate our champions league winning coach....@mq is a plastic fan in my own opinion http://www.tribalfootball.com/articles/brighton-boss-poyet-di-matteo-can-get-chelsea-playing-style-3202751

1) Sinking to my knees in the Allianz, screaming like a banshee , as a kid I never even thought we would be in Europe again , and all I would ever here was about 71 and Real Madrid but now I have been to Stockholm , and the big one in Munich, a place that will forever be in our hearts. Next would be the cup final , the most beautiful trophy in the world, and to win over the team who won competitions in the Old testament , The Bible , The Doomsday book and when Littlewoods pools gave them all that cash, made it all the more sweet. 2) I think when we lost to the Baggies I realised how average we were becoming and wondered whether the new glory years were coming to an end, AVB was told to do a job dismantling the team but didn't have the man management skills to do it tactfully . 3) In my space suit at the top of the Camp Nou, in the distance I saw an exquisite pass from Frank Lampard through to Ramires who gave me the best chip since I went to Harry Ramsdens in Leeds twenty years before, oh Ramires oh Ramires , he comes from brazil , oh Ramires ,Oh Ramires he never stands still! 4) I am going for Cech . He has not been his best for the last couple of years but he looks back and I have a feeling he will be that way for a long time to come. 5) Have to go for a TEAM effort against Barcelona away, super human , although the longest second half of football I have ever stood through, seemed to last a millenium. 6) Haven't got a bloody clue who I want as next manager, RDM is not my choice as his team gave away too many chances in league and cup, and we need a rebuilding job I'm not sure he is up to it. I will take Guardiola if he brings that Messi chap with him! 7) Next season I want us to qualify for the Champions league comfortably , I want us to screw as much money out of TV and sponsorship so the club can reduce ticket prices , I want Didier Drogba to be given a Honorary Knighthood, I want to find a VHS recorder from a car boot sale and re live Liverpool's istory. KTBFFH.
