Capital One line up!

Capital One line up!

Now after a great result against Stoke which saw us lead the table and getting a fourth clean sheet in five games we turn our attention to Wolves game on Tuesday.

We have so many games coming in and we need to use our full squad to full effect. We need to give some players game time for example Azpilicuelta and Moses and rest some players.

We need a competitive squad out there and a fresh one to get us a win.

My starting eleven would be : Turnbull , Azpilicuelta, Cahill, Terry, Berty, Romeu, Lampard, Marin, Moses, Piazon and Sturridge.

If Sturridge isn't fit we should give a chance for Patrick Bamford to get a start and a deserved chance in this cup for Piazon to show what he is capable of Rest Hazard, Mata, Ramires , Mikel, Cech, Luiz, Cole and Ivanovic for the Arsenal clash.

What do you think?

Your views please.

Turnbull , Azpilicuelta, Cahill, Terry, Berty, Romeu, Lampard, Marin, Moses, Piazon and Sturridge. I second that line up SIR MERLIN {U ARE A KNIGHT} and I believe the line up will be very close to this.

My prediction is: Turnbull; Azpi (finally), Ivanovic (would prefer Terry, but doesn't he have to deal with the FA this week?) , Cahill, Bertrand; Mikel (not sure when we will ever see Romeu play), Lampard; Moses, Oscar, Marin (if healthy, if not Piazon to partner Oscar); Sturridge.

Moses and marin on the wing with piazon play being sturridge, I will be happy if RDM can find a good young Central defender among our u21 so that he won't play JT.

I agree with the principles Uncle Merlin but i would not voluntarily start Turnbull in any competitive game i am sorry..i also think lamps should not start this game but should be on the subs list..he is a sure starter against the gunners i would argue he needs to be rested. My suggested starting 11 would be the following; Cech, Bertrand,Cesar, JT and Cahill, Mids; Romeu, Marin and Moses, forwards; Mata, Piazon and Sturridge. Subs; Turnbull, Lamps, hazard, Ivanovic, Oscar, Bamford.

i dont want to see cech , terry , mikel nor torres for this game ... i will want oscar( he wont start against arsenal ) moses marin and piazon and one of the three brothers we bought have no idea what their names are .........and also want to see any upcoming player we might have ... the line up will determine whether i watch the match or not

I would not want to see either Terry, Lampard, Ramires, Mata, Hazard or Cech on the pitch. Lets go with this: Blackman, Cesar, Cahill, Ake, Bertrand, Romeu, Boga, Piazon, Marin, Sturridge and Moses. Probably will not happen..But I would like to see this kid J. Boga play as he is REALLY good.
23/09/2012 14:21:00
LOL...@Don Capon...ya, me too. If I don't get MY lineup I won't watch either!
23/09/2012 14:26:00
Addendum: I'll just take my dinky toys and go play in my sandbox.

I must say some of the line ups suggested by some of us here are concerning..this is a one of match for a legitimate tournament with a trophy. We have already fluffed two of the 7 trophy chances we had for this season and let us not be fooled here..Wolves are no mikey mouse team..they were in the premier league just last some of you remember what happened when we played NewCastle (when they had just returned to the BPL) at Stamford Bridge in our first round play 2-3 yrs ago..we lost 4-3 with Turnbull in goal and that ended all chances of our youths getting any further exposure in first team play for the rest of that season. if we overdo this gung ho youth drive against Wolves and have an inconsistent goal keeper between the posts we will get found out..take wolves for granted at your peril.

Lamarochs u sly fox!! I love that formation and as gabeu said I won't start turnbull if all our keepers are not available, I'll prefer starting JT as a keeper than turnbull, I hope turnbull gain our trust, but what he did in the carling cup last 2 seasons was just too painful for me, my lineup is hilario, cesar, cahill,JT,betrand, romeu, clifford, loftus cheek, piazon, marin, bamford. Subs: blackman, lamps, oscar, moses, rammy, mikel, boga

@Don capon, whatever the line up as long as they don my Chelsea jersey I won't mis the match, i follow chelsea no matter the on the pitch, though i may not like our line up sometime but whenever the ball get kick I throw my personal opinion away and rally my chelsea, after the match I may complain but I won't miss any chelsea match i'm able to watch cuz i love the club come rain come sunshine.
23/09/2012 14:46:00
I agree with Desmondadonis...Hilario or even blackman between the sticks for this game..i undrestand Cech does not need some rest time but i simply cannot trust Turnbull in a one of cup game where if we lose that is the end of the tourney for chance for a return leg or replay..i would not risk it.

433. turnbull. azi cahill luiz bertrand. romeu oscar piazon moses sturridge marin
23/09/2012 14:56:00
My Line up will be Blackman, Cesar, Cahill, Terry, Betrand, Romeu, Ramires, Moses(Rt), Oscar(Middle), Piazon(Lt), Sturridge... bench: Mikel, Hilario, Feruz, Marin, Iva, Mata.
23/09/2012 15:32:00
I second that line-up, @Latunvic. Xcept maybe i'l want Oscar to rest a little against the weekend or should say 'wicked' derby.
23/09/2012 18:38:00
Think our bench wil be use(bertrad, moses, romeo, cesear, marin) wit 1 or 2 youngsters like piazon, cos the under 21 has a game tomorrow night given them less time to train for d wolves game.
23/09/2012 18:40:00
Di Matteo did say he wont be making wholesale changes .. so he'd play new signings . Hope that piazon gets a run in.
