'If It's Football, It's Vital'

The Right Attitude!

The surprising exclusion, from the Spanish squad, of Juan Mata has prompted the kind of response from Juan that you would expect.

Mata, since being given a two week rest, has been in sublime form and we can only surmise that Spain`s loss is our gain, but returning to the point about missing the World Cup qualifiers against Belarus and France, Mata has commented,

"I was excited about these games and confident I would make the squad."

"I`ve not spoken to the manager. The only thing I can do is keep playing well in order for him to pick me."

As he surely will, meanwhile put your feet up this weekend and further re-charge those batteries as we attempt to make a transition season something of a special one.

I hope this will motivate him not the opposite. He has been playing more better than Silva.

Expect an angry & fresh Mata on saturday against Spurs.
chuks09
A fresh juan mata will be useful to us than a knackered one, I'll be glad if he regains his spot in the spain national team, mata right now is they key to our midfield along with some of our other midfield players, but he is the link.
Desmondadonis
i think mata is still our best player.......

Even Torres was Surprise @ his omission.. Our Gain, Mata's §§

Top man Mata. The model professional, someone needs to give Del Bosque a slap!
Hazzabee
Our gain but I know deep in Mata heart he will really want to join his international team mate, continue to play well for us man and you get back to the squad.

I can imagine if that was Lamps @ his prime (as Mata is) I wonder what response he'd have given?? *food for thought*
@Mq
He wont play for his country, chelsea gain from the rest that will run Spurs and Manchester down.
Kendemsblue
Even Torres was only on the bench

Spent 32m to bring Hazard to Chelsea and yet the little Spaniard remains the chief source of inspiration for the team. Great footballer, great character. I can stand to see Hazard leave for Spanish shores one day, but I hope to God we hold on to this lad.
Carefree_1990
I only see great days to come. Imagine that the trio of Mata, Oscar and Hazard click. Just a nightmare to the opposing defenders and just see them becoming great for chelsea.

The right attitude will bring the wins to maintain the top.
