Bertrand`s Folly!

Bertrand`s Folly!

I know he`s young but after recent events surely he should have known better!

Although I perhaps should acknowledge that the manner in which the Football Association described his unavailability as down to a 'sore throat` could have been better dealt with and an enhanced reason given.

Nevertheless, rules are rules (I`m a stickler for them) and on the back of his tweet, which I hasten to add was quickly deleted, young Ryan Bertrand will be subjected to some kind of punishment, most probably an ear-bashing from some senior suited gentleman from the FA.

Learn the lesson young man, they may not be so lenient next time around, especially with the much mentioned 'code of conduct` about to be initiated!

I was a little disappointed with his tweet. He should have known better. It was least expected especially from him.

But to be honest, the fan that tweetted that comment is a big f**l, that ryan doesn't want to play for england.

The solution is simple..since these guys cant seem to police themselves..do it for them..just make it club policy that during the season all use of social media is prohibited and the problem is solved..it would also help these guys actually better focus on what should be their premier activity during the season..honing their craft as professional football players.

I don't understand why Betrand acted so foolishly...you don't have to exchange words with or react to a fan's comment in such a manner... I just hope his recent success doesn't start to get into his head and lead him into following the wrong foot steps...

And he deleted his account completely. They just need not to follow on making their fans happy but look into their careers when posting on the social media.
