What Does the Future Hold for Oscar?

What Does the Future Hold for Oscar?

Does anyone know just how good Oscar can become?

Is he just a talented youngster or is he on the verge, over a period of time, set to become one of the best midfielders our game has seen?

It`s very rare that I get so excited about any one player, I`ve learnt over the years that as you mature your thoughts become more rationalized.

But Oscar is different.

Everything about him oozes class and for somebody so young he`s settled into life at Chelsea Football Club with consummate ease.

His movement around the pitch allied with that touch of class we normally don`t see, belies his age, but perhaps the best thing about Oscar is that you get the belief that he`s generally pleased to be at Stamford Bridge.

This morning, in one of the tabloid newspapers, there are a few comments that illustrate that point perfectly with Oscar attributed as having remarked,

"It`s a pleasure to play for a team which attacks like this."

"I`m Brazilian so, of course, I like playing this style of football a lot."

"It makes me happy to be part of a team playing this way."

"It`s very important to me to enjoy my football and to be with a club with such a philosophy."

"I have already struck up a good understanding with Juan Mata and Eden Hazard and our relationship is improving with every match we play together."

"After every 90 minutes we feel as though we have a better understanding of each others game and, hopefully, there is much more to come from us."

Now that is something to whet the appetite, the prospect of the trio getting better and better only augers well for Chelsea Football Club.

Naturally, any interview with the youngster, so soon after Wednesday`s triumph over Shakhtar Donetsk, just had to mention that exquisite goal he scored with Oscar adding,

"Yes, that was a beautiful goal. I`ve not scored many better than that in my career and it`s definitely the first time I`ve scored form that sort of distance."

"All four of my goals so far for Chelsea have come in the Champions League but that doesn`t mean I`ve found it easier to play in Europe than the Premier League. I feel as though I`ve settled in well to both competitions. The most important thing is I am adapting to Chelsea and to my team mates and I have to keep the process going."

Could Oscar be an early candidate for our player of the season or, if this form continues, could he achieve something much higher, when the individual awards are handed out at the end of the season.

What i like about him is his vision and how he follows the ball when he make a pass.if he keeps himself concentrated in football, i can see him being a chelsea legend soon than we expected.

What gives me the conviction he will stay is the fact that brazilians (except Neymar who is being hawk around by santos) doesn't have the history of whoring and hawking themselves around like players from europe. The love and passion of Luiz for chelsea will definately force more brazilians to loving chelsea, it is getting more clearer that we are the next big thing in world football so, expect more brazilians here.

I was really excited of how Neymar described him........ he can win the Ballon d'Or in the future..... he is only 20 !!! I just can't believe it that we have such a great young talent in our hands, who only cost 25m...... yes , thats a big amount , but it's already looking like a bargain to me......... When I turn on the TV to watch our team play, I'm really happy... I'm excited coz I know I'm going to watch a beautiful performance........ I don't remember the last time I felt like this about watching Chelsea play............ a big well done and thank you to Emelano and RDM and our board .......... Moses, Mata, Hazard, and OSCARRRR..... I'm really happy wholeheartedly :')

Oscar was bought for €25m, and its an absolute steal, he would improve and improve and can be our next frank lampard but with better passing ability, this guy can win games single handedly and the most exciting thing about him is that he is 21! Doesn't get injured often and would be a real gift for football all over.

Oscar is just has good has i expected! but my player of the season has gotta be, between harzard and mata, shakhter players where being pulled all over the peach by hazard on wednesday, the only way they could stop him was by kicking him; i even lost count of how many times the boy was kicked! all in all watching the 3 of them brings joy to all of us and reminds us about what football is all about !

Have a horrible feeling Real or Barca will pursue him with a vengeance in the not too distant future.

I guess what helped him to settle down so quick is having brazilian mates who are key players at the club and familiar with him from the national team set-up. He is going to be a great player for us and will make tremendous progress this season but i cant see him and hazard beating mata to best player award this season, maybe next season. Mata's experience will make the difference this season.
