A great night for us on Wednesday if a little draining on we fans nerves, but I'm told by neutrals who watched it that it was a cracking match.

Respect to Shakhtar, they are a class act and could go all the way, if given the touch of fortune all cup winners need. I'm particularly impressed by Fernandinho, could it be he'd look good in blue?

The highlights from Celtic were well worth catching, any side who beat Barca / UEFA are my heroes, even though I've always had a soft spot for the blue half of Glasgow.

Best news of the round though, at long last its official, Johnny Evans does commit fouls, even in his own penalty area! Just a shame it took a foreign referee, Brych by name, to award one against him.

And you know what? I think the ref was wrong but what the hell, it's just a shame it had no bearing on the result unlike his great escape v Torres. Think Liverpoo have an issue with him too)

Good to see Kalou score a goal for his new club but what about Claudio Pizarro? A hat-trick in rapid time for the man who rarely looked like scoring for us, the 2nd goal being especially well taken.

And Robben, FIT and firing, a class act when on the pitch, but........., well we all know the score there.

I'll just finish on Oscar, having him is a bit like looking forward to Xmas lunch / birthday treats / a great night out; I'm almost drooling at the anticipation of what's to come from this lad in the next few years, not to mention Hazard & Mata.

Well oscar would improve and improve, I hope he and all of our players get more protection from the refree, we have 3 players in cfc now who can be nominated in the ballon d'or list next season if we have a good season, perhaps win and retain the ucl and win the premier league? Mata-oscar-hazard pheeew!!! Pizarro goals were good to see, and watts 2nd goal for celtic was exciting, mikel scored a goal that is the same as the victor wayama goal but was ruled rightly as offside, I was so shocked when the ball went in, nice effort from the lad, try more and improve more both attacking and defensively, malaga is a team that people are not paying attention to, and I have this feeling they'll hurt one big team before being dumped out.

Beautiful Goal From Oscar. What'll you expect 4rm 'Fine Boy' Pizarro when he's playing against a team that has kalou as their man against an hungry and angry bayern???

I have been reviweing the goals we have conceded in the last few weeks and though much been down to lack of concentration and individual defensive errors the vast majority of these goals in my opinion should have been stopped by a world class goalie. The point is that Cech is part of the problem in our recent defensive frailties ..he has been especially vulnerable to balls played near to any of the posts. I wonder if this has to do with the elbow injury he has been nursing that prevents him from being able to extend his arm properly or whether it is the result of lack of competition for his spot..it is becoming an issue though.

@GabeU, i wish u would give examples of the goals that cech has conceded dat ha been his fault, but in my opinion cech has been graet for chelsea dis season. and talking about the injury to his elbow, we dnt know whether its the right or left, bt if u know, pls let it out.

Nice to see pizarro stil bangin the goals after his blip time in england,also good to see kalou on the scoresheet with what was a magnificient strike that would go down in the book as one of the best...@gabeu,i think i would partially agree with as cech as been suspect particularly in one on one situations
