Match Day Moments - Liverpool (h)

Match Day Moments - Liverpool (h)

It`s fair to say that the last three home games we`ve experienced have been real humdingers with a plethora of goals, action galore and last minute goals to raise the roof.

Will today be the same, as Liverpool come to Stamford Bridge, or will it be one of those staid clashes we used to have with the mickey-mousers when Jose Mourinho was in charge?

Either way we need the three points if we`re going to hang on to the shirt-tails of a Manchester United side that came back from 2-0 down to beat Aston Villa 3-2 last night.

So why not join us for our usual Match Day Moments thread whereby we discuss the starting eleven selected by Roberto Di Matteo, the possible tactics to be deployed and all the action as it unfurls, it`ll be a scream!

But please be careful with what you write, although it is an emotional game, remember that these comments are read by all and sundry, including youngsters who support our fantastic club and we wouldn`t want to give a bad impression would we!

Spent last night at the Jo-Burg leg of the Linkin Park Living Things Tour with my CFC shirt which I am still wearing so that our superstars can rock the brdge the same way Linkin Park rocked Soccer City. Come on you Blues....

Chuks09 is spot on with his comment, zhahovic too and u hope we have a fair treatment from the ref, though I doubt it, I have a feeling we'll won this one 2- 0 hopefully, perfect team selection and worthy subs will be the right way, torres is someone I don't know if he will be in a good frame of mind to play well for us as he havnt scored against pool in 5 meetings since his switch from anfield and he scored 5 goals or more against us while he was with the mersey siders.

hopefully Torres going to start from the bench for this one, available stat. suggests his performances for Chelsea against his former clubs have been abysmal and in the spirit of giving other players opportunities to show their ability and help the team, i think its about time someone gave Torres a challenge for that first striker spot, we are behind Manu on the league table largely because we havent got a striker to salvage the team from difficult situations, a situation like the one Manu found themselves in at Fulham yesterday before the 'little pea' contrived a winning formular that saves the manures.

Predictaion close match .. The sort dat the diff will be a gol, 1-0 or 2-1 ... Lpool:- reina, johnsn, skertel, agger, enriqe, allen, shelvey, gerrad, sterling, downing, aquaman/suarez... For chelsea .. I will play wing footy; cech, cesar, terry, cahill, ivano, mikel, rami, moses, marin, mata, sturidge.. Subs- turnbull, luiz, bertrand, romeu, oscar, hazard, torres ..... Tactics .. Cesar can match sterlng 4 speed so stat him out LB, ivan can handle downing or suso.. Cahill/terry 4 suarez ( cool heads needed there).. Of the 3 muskateers mata is the key soo he stats, moses and marin speedy, good movers and eye for goal plus the added surprise... Sturidge is a jack in the box.... SUBS; luiz and bertrand for defence wen injured or tired only... Romeu to hold ball in middle.. Oscar and hazard if the game is going south and finally.. Hmmn give El nino TORRES an almighty hairdrier pep talk it now or neva... Tell him this is his match to win !!! All the best lads, CHEERS
