Lampard Heading East

Lampard Heading East

The gossip, this weekend, relating to Fran Lampard is that our midfielder could be heading off to the Far East.

Several news sources reckon that Frank is heading off to China to play for the Super League side Guizhou Rehne and pocketing a cool £250,000 a week.

There`s also the inference that the move could go ahead as soon as January with the Guizhou chairman, Wang Guolin, remarking,

"I want the best team in China and we are prepared to invest a lot of money to bring Lampard to us."

What makes the move more of a possibility is that it`s rumoured that the super-agent Pini Zahavi is involved.

I guess we`ll just have to wait and see if anything materializes.

Lampard and his agent better do some serious due diligence before moving to China. Hearing rumors of Anelka terminating his contract and Drogba not getting paid. Some of these owners are outrightly crazy.

We will regret this! Still too early as our new players have no winning mentality at all yet. He should stay till the end of the season as PLAN B ..... When we need to switch formation to 433 or 442... hazard disappears in big games. Someone like lamps would have made a difference yesterday with his shots... he is a proven winner! most people here just can't wait to offload lamps... I'm glad true Chelsea fans who go to the bridge worship him (unlike all the foreign plastics on this website) and his banner will hang for years and years to come.... SUPER FRANKIE LAMPARD.... *sobs*

scholes and giggs are still @ united and we are about to lose one of the remaining players that give this club history... Next thing you know, these plastics above me will want us to sell Terry and will say he's too old lol.. I rest my case.

We will not regret anything. Lampard is 34. Mikel and Ramires are doing well. Oscar plays Lampard's former role very well.

Scholes and Giggs play a technical game. Lampard's game was about efficiency until that injury in 2010.

Unless we sign a world class midfielder,we should keep hold of Lamps.Despite his age he has some football left in him and his experience is invaluable. He is the one and only born leader of this team excluding Terry and he has developed the mentality of a winner after the long years of service under Jose Mourinho. We saw what void left DD,we should not allow that to happen too.By losing him Chelsea FC won't only lose a player, but also a piece of the clubs identity.

I should note that even though I have critisized him this season,I will never want to see him leave the Bridge. He is one of the main reasons why I am a Chelsea fan in this very moment and I will be extremely gutted and miserable if the club parts ways with him.

One of the most important players for Chelsea in its history, the man is a legend in his own right - despite him being not as good as he once was, we must totally respect him for what he has achieved for himself and what he has helped our great club achieve also. He was our best midfielder for close to 10 years. Whatever happens, I wish Franky all the best. Top professional that can still ofer something to us. Should he leave we will need a CM replacement for sure. De Rossi is good but different type of player. He would also cost a bucket load and have some serious wage to go with it..
