'If It's Football, It's Vital'

In No Hurry!

The king of the tabloids, The Sun, has an interesting snippet relating to Marouane Fellaini this morning.

Already it has been reported, by some, that Fellaini is seen as a January transfer target for Chelsea with the Belgian international able to play in midfield or up front, well it seems the Belgian isn`t in a rush to come to Stamford Bridge, admitting,

'I want to play for one of the biggest clubs one day. But I am patient.'

Be careful young man, the chance may not arise again!

No to fellaini, instead of us payin 30m pounds for him,we should recall josh mceachran and spend the 30m pounds plus on strikers that can change a big game like falcao, cavani, lewandowski etc... You all saw we played well against liverpool but we couldn't get the game changer....ramires is doing well, mceachran can be a good back up,then why get fellaini?our main problem is the centre forward and that's where we should be concentrating on....

Just the standard drivel by players that want to remain in the good books of their supporters and colleagues when they plan on how to clear their locker when the right offer comes in. He doesn't need to do anything again. he has already indicated that he is seeking to move and the right people have heard. all he needs to do now is to seat still and watch the deals happen.
Dwonder
do you think Chelsea will trust such a young player in our starting11 because I'm pretty sure Fellainin would be starting ahead of Mikel were he to come HAZARD??
@Mq
No Vacancy
chuks09
I'm sure we won't pay 30mil for Fellaini.
zosBlue
zosBlue...Everton payed over 15 million for him 4 years ago when he was nowhere near as good, if we want him we'll certianly be paying something in the 30mil region.
CalculatedKalou
@calculated, then we shouldn't get him.
zosBlue
no to fellani....he doesnt suit our style of play....would have bought before when we use to play different style but now big noooo we dont need him....would rather go for that celtic guy victor wamoya....
shlok27
we should take a close look at Strootman or Axel Witsel....... they're younger and cheaper....... another 30m for an attacking midfielder ?....... NO !........ but anything less than 22m pounds would be good IMO.........
The Persian
in my opinion, the only thing that makes Fellaini that expensive (30m) is because Everton bought him for 15m , four years ago (as CalculatedKalou said)
The Persian
I would welcome fellaini with open hands,he is such a dynamic player and would be vital to our Plan B(if we would have 1)
Ken4CFC
As has been said many times there are few players in the BPL more versatile than Fellaini...this guy can play 4 positions very well; DM, CM, CAM and CF. His height and strength are a big plus and when he is on he is a handful wherever he is deployed..the big problem is he wont come cheap and i think we can only afford one big ticket player this January window..considering our woeful state up front that big ticket player has to be a striker..besides with Josh Essien and KBD available to recall we really do not have a major midfield headaches if we would only recall some of these players we have out on loan. We dont have that luxury at striker..we will need to buy our way out of the mess we have at the striker position.
GabeU
The more I think about kdb's loan move, I get more angry, we were saying he shouldn't be loaned back then, but alas we'll just voice our opinion and frustration in here without result, kdb along with any other bright loanee should be called back and assessed b4 we go out and splash another cash on players, what is a given right now is to get a gosl scoring machine or 2
Desmondadonis
A good player but on an inflated price
Kendemsblue
a great player. he can add so much to the team as well. Move lamps and essien on and bring him in and our midfield will be complete for the next 4-5 years.
Ess...DaBison
defo worth the price...and is the sole reason why everton are flying this season (maybe mirallas too)
Ess...DaBison
Fellaini can be a useful player for us. He is very versatile in the roles he can play. He can play DM, CM, supporting striker, except for wing position. He is very tall, strong, a real monster during set pieces....
Blu_run
Agreed, though the quoted price and our need for a striker will mean more spending yet the management are trying to reduce expenditure. Hope Torres is sold or exchanged for a decent and hungry striker
