"Three Weeks Approximately"

As Chelsea prepare to face West Bromwich Albion, at the Hawthorns, Roberto Di Matteo revealed some important news relating to John Terry, at his pre-match press conference.

Di Matteo, enlightening those present confirmed that his captain would be out for approximately three weeks, remarking,

'Fortunately, it's not as bad as we first thought. It's an MCL (medial cruciate ligament) strain.'

Cfc250, he is not a superhuman, he can't ever play that game, I know u are worried about experience and all, but I am sure he can't play against juve or city sadly, I'll tip that he will be back by mid december

Great to hear its not as serious as we all taught...Wish him a quick recovery.

@desmondadonis..with JT you never know..this guy played through active cracked ribs (this is one of the most painful situations one can play through) and after arthroscopic knee surgery some time back he was back in competitive play in 2 wks..the typical lay of for that sort of surgery is at best 4weeks and more typically in the 6-8 wk range..the guy has clearly taken very good care of his body but beyond that he has such a high threshold for pain...this is one reason the moniker capt fantastic is apt.
