A Star in the Making!

It`s great to see young Nathaniel Chalobah continuing to make the headlines up at Vicarage Road.

Our talented youngster, on a season long loan, continues, despite the huge influx of Udinese youngsters, to make Gianfranco Zola`s first team and on Saturday, against Wolverhampton Wanderers, he scored his first goal in the Hornets colours.

The future certainly looks bright for young Nathaniel and in a press interview, recently, he spoke about following in the footsteps of Ryan Bertrand and being one of those selected few to make the grade, remarking,

"It`s always been a dream to play at Chelsea but there are high expectations and you have to be patient."

"Ryan is the perfect example - he`s had to go out on several loan moves, but he`s finally broken into the team and plays for England as well."

Patience is a virtue but we reckon young Nathaniel has his career all mapped out and he is a real star in the making.

Nathaniel Chalobah and josh will be an awesome pairing in our pivot with mazacar and lukaku ahead of them....still a dream but a very realistic one for sure...ktbffh
yash_blue
is he now a permanent cdm? i remember before he was a cb
Humza_96
I can only hope for the day (hopefully not too far away) when he, Josh and KDB make their triumphant returns and add much needed depth and quality to our central midfield.

WHEN ITS ABOUT FALCAO OR JOVETIC I COULD SEE DOZENS OF COMMENTS FROM THE INTELLIGENT MEMBERS OF VC. IF THE ARTICLE IS ON A YOUNG PLAYER WHO IS ON LOAN OR DEVELOPING IN OUR ACADEMY THERE ARE ONLY VERY FEW TO COMMENT. WHY IT IS LIKE THIS, PLASTICS?? ARE YOU ONLY INTERSPERTED IN TRANSFER MARKET WHERE YOU CAN SEE ROMAN SPLASHING HIS OIL MONEY, OR ARE YOU OBSESSED WITH CRITICIZING TORRES ALL THE TIME?? COME ON FRIENDS, SPEND SOME TIME DISCUSSING ABOUT OUR YOUNG PROSPECTS AS WELL, SO THAT LESS INTELLIGENT PEOPLE LIKE ME WILL GET SOME INFO ABOUT THE PLAYERS WHO COME FROM OUR ACADEMY. PLEASE...
The Blue Indian
he is just 17 guys . please dont put too much pressure on him .. i do not see him in our first team till about 2 years
Don capon
KDB has been fantastic at bremen...he scored a brilliant goal yesterday even with bremen a man down...if we had known Essien will force a madrid move, I am sure we wouldn't have loaned kdb out but i am still happy he is doing really well...same with Josh and Nat who have both been phenomenal at their clubs...after this little gloom we are going through i see a big bright light ahead...i just pray we get key decisions right.

Almost all our loaness are all trying including Davile, KDB, Josh, Kakuta, Kalas, Patrick, & co's..the future is Shining!!!

Could someone of you please post a hyperlink of Chalobah's goal from Saturday, because I am having a hard time finding it?And please no links from skysports,I've tried but it didn't worked.

Otherwise I very much hope that Chalobah makes a long and sucessful career at Chelsea.I see him as our long term CM if he manages to make it to the first team.
Simeon23
Chalobah have been impressive so far and I think he needs to stay and continue his development in watford till 2014, he'll come to be highly formidable by that time and would still be 19, kalas was so inmpressive yesterday that he got 2 NEC players sent off, kakuta has an assist yesterday, patrick van holt did well too playing all 90mins, davilla scored 2 goals in sabdella's 5-2 win over recreativo, kdb scored his 4th in the bundesliga against dusseldor* bruma only played a few mins for hamburg, mancienne played 90mins, amin affane had an assist

KDB is better than Willian, No need to waste 30m on Willian, let Inter or Spurs get him. KDB is also very composed on the ball, confident, very creative, has excellent vision, scores wicked goals and can play from deep midfield. He is already shining in the BundesLiga which is as difficult as the Epl with even better technical players. I really like him and am confident he will make it @CFC.

Chalobah is not 17, lol!, he plays like a 22year old midfielder. His brains are bigger than his age and legs, he is fast, skillful, hardworking, reads the game well, he scores, he is creative, he plays with passion and is a leader @the tender age of 17. I find it very difficult to believe he is that young whenever I watch him play. I want Watford to be promoted to the EPL so he can continue his development with Zola for another 2-3 seasons and come back as a world class CDM like Alonso.
SameX
Ulises Davilla was always going to be a star, so am not surprised tbh.

"patience" thats the keyword and am glad the youngman acknowledges that

Romeu...you might want to request a transfer...lets face it..between Nate and Romeu I would prefer Nate as he has more pace, more overall skill, can play CB as well and can score a goal...

can anyone here please say something about the qualities of chalobah, how he plays, his strengths and weaknesses, position, and everything?? Why don't some of you write articles about our future stars with all the details. merlin can you do anything like that please??
The Blue Indian
He is thriving under the guidance of Zola. He will be our Viera in two seasons or less...
Gian-Franco/Luca
This boy is class and since I satrted following him to know how he is doing, I realized that I have not gotten anything bad to say about him
Kendemsblue
@The Blue Indian: 1) McEachran: He is too WEAK for the championship and you think he is going to start regular games for Chelsea in EPL. Middlesbrough don't allow him to venture forward that often. He wants to play as no. 10 but they know he is too FRAGILE for that position that is why he is playing as a no. 6. He was the SOLE reasons for one of the goals they conceded since then they have asked him to get rid of the ball quickly. He needs to prove himself in the EPL. He was not able to get into a Swansea team because they knew he is too FRAGILE. IMO HE WILL BE SOLD TO A CHAMPIONSHIP CLUB IN NEAR FUTURE. 2) Bertrand: If Cole leaves then this/new manager is going to sign a new left back. I think I don't need to add on this any further. 3) Chalobah: We shall see after his loan ends how much PHYSICALLY he has improved/How many games he started. He is no starter yet and needs 1 years regular Championship & 2 years EPL experience. 4) KDB: I saw him play for Chelsea he has such a bad first touch. He shall be sold in future. 5) Piazon: If he does not go on loan soon then Chelsea will have no option but to sell him.

Mata, Hazard and Oscar are "WEAK as well. They don't play power football but they do just fine. Football is not rugby or wrestling.
foreign_viewer
@b2k that is a very pessimistic opinion.. i think josh can make it
Don capon
I do not think that Josh is weak. He can be a good player in future. I cant really tell the difference with oscar, who is playing for chelsea day in day out.
Kendemsblue
He has it all except experience under pressure
