Dooms Day Conspiracy

Reading comments on the match day moments during our ill fated match in Turin yesterday and subsequent trends after the match, I felt it necessary to drop one or two lines about my opinion our team as whole.

Starting with the team selected by the coach to start the match, one thing we forgot was that even when the team played Cesar at right wing we played better than when Moses came in? We were a goal down and we still had lots of chances to score.

If we will be truthful with ourselves when Moses and Torres came in how many scoring chances did we have?

Please let's all re watch the match and then make our sincere analysis. At least, we had 3 clear cut scoring chances in the 1st half which if we had taken would have changed the complexion of the match.

It's just a rough patch, we are almost out of the Champions League fine, and people are shouting as if it's dooms day, Manchester City are already out and nobody is saying anything, Manchester United went out in the group stage last season and ended the season wining nothing, Arsenal have not won anything in the better part of 7 years and are 6th in the league at present yet they all are not talking about sacking their coach.

Chelsea fans and board are the most pathetic of the teams in the top flight in the EPL, we are currently 3rd on the log with just 4 points separating us from the league leader yet we react as if we're in the relegation zone, Real Madrid is 3rd in their league with about 7points separating them from Barca yet heaven is not falling.

Immediately we lost yesterday some idiotic newspaper carried a news about RDM been sacked and Benitez taking over describing our team as an 'AILING' team, all this is quite annoying but the bottom line is, we as CFC are the main cause of our problem panicking when there is no need to.

It's still a long season we are just in Week 13 of 38, it is only a fool that will say our season is over. The teams problem is there for all to see, get 2 prolific strikers (before the beginning of the season I wrote an article titled 'Why not Van Persie' when it was obvious that he is set to leave Arsenal then, but people said we don't need him, all that is history now because he is the only bright spot in a rather lethargic Man U team, imagine RVP in this our team ) and probably 2 good midfielders in the mode of Willian and Fernandinho to complement those we already have, so as to suit team rotation or even recall those we have outside De Bruyne, Essien or even McEachran.

In as much as people complain about the defence I still feel we are okay at the rear it is the midfield and the attack that is making our defence look so obviously bad, take Man U for example, nobody complains when they concede because the attackers will actually score.

My summation, leave RDM to finish the job he has started, fix our teams frailty as the squad is too thin especially in the attack, if all this is done I see a great team evolving, because sincerely I haven't seen a Chelsea team play with such fluidity as this teams does at the beginning of the season, so all we need is just tighten the loose ends and we will be good to go. After all its not doomsday.

"Chelsea is a sacking machine." - Rio Ferdinand. Agreed!

Fluent at times but coming to a standing game in the final third. OK, most teams park the bus, but we need to find ways around it. It is never going to work unless players make themselves available to the ball holding player. Our strikers currently aren't incorporated into the team with a constructive role and because of that they just don't score. I've seen this sacking coming. It started with us not buying a striker. Now we really need two, but until then we need to re-group and use what we have the best effect.

Never say never, but we're almost certainly out of CL and in free fall in PL. CL exits cost us dearly and not making CL next year will be even more costly. That is why action was unavoidable, but was it already too late?

...My summation, leave RDM to finish the job he has started...and take our attacking talent down, teaching them to defend instead of building on their attacking prowess and setting up the team like?? Gladly you are nowhere close to making CFC decisions, we'd be a humiliation by end December the rate we were going
@Mq
Too little too late, written after the match yesterday, God help CFC

The milk is already spilt and we need to look into tightening the jar and take care of the one left in the jar.
