Match Day Moments - Corinthians (CWC Final)

Match Day Moments - Corinthians (CWC Final)

And so the moment is upon us, our chance to announce ourselves on the world stage and become club champions of the world.

This morning in Yokohoma, in Japan, Chelsea take on a Corinthians side (from Brazil), just as keen to claim the trophy. It promises to be a titanic tussle and, as usual, we`re running our Match Day Moments thread whereby we`re asking you for your thoughts on the starting eleven and the action as it unfolds.

Keep those fingers crossed, in a couple of hours; we could very well be Club Champions of the World, or we could be coming home with our tails between our legs.

Which will it be?

You know what guys? If the apocalyptic doomsayers are right & the world really does end next Friday, we could be European & World Champions for eternity! Now wouldn't that be something? But would any of us still be around to celebrate?

To be serious though, I'd have been tempted to play all 3 Brazilians in this game but I guess Rafa has a plan. We shall see.

Let's go guys, we can do this...... And It's expected and normal to see Lampard to start in this, it's CWC final and since JT is injured, Lamp is the next in line to lead the team out for this great event, even if he's only half-fit.....

Our passing have been poor and apart from one good pass from lamps, the passes from the pivot have been wayward.

Thank God for Luiz,a great defender he is. And what an error by Mata. They really wanna get us on the counter.

Thank God for Luiz,a great defender he is. And what an error by Mata. They really wanna get us on the counter. And Lamps is over working Ramires in the middle. The corinthians are begining to get way too much space in our area.
