The Most Frustrated Player in the World?
Rafa the 'interim` Gaffer made some puzzling decisions today, many of which have already been questioned in the comments threads associated with the game.
But, one player must be wondering why he bothered coming to Chelsea.
Marko Marin, dubbed the German Messi, has seen very little first team action thereby giving us little, or no chance, of seeing what he could offer the side.
Today, in Yokohoma City, Marin was brought on as a substitute with a mere 3 minutes of normal time left, hardly enough time to break into a sweat let alone turn around a game were were losing.
Marko Marin, probably the most frustrated player in the word!

I see Marin as a proactive change in a game, if you are needing a goal he can change things. However we put Bertrand on and go defensive, but hat comes from having a reactive manager. I don agree that Marin was bought because we may not have got hazard. If you buy a player you play him.

to be honest i think he is not that good neither di matteo or benitez seem to want to play him and the the german public were amazed that we wanted to sign him in the first place i think that says a lot

When u need goals, you bring Marin in to run at the defences of the opposition. To have played lampard for 90mins is plain idiocy to me. And what the hell do one do with a striker like Torres.? The joker missed two great siters and I think his form is directly responsible for the mediocrity that our coaches are forced to tolerate from other players. How do u seriously lambast other players for inept displays when the doyen of the owner and coach is totally atrocious? If only to put Torres in the dustbin, I want guardiola to come. What a fraud

The problem is that size/effort beats small skill every time...Marin is another smurff that was purchased. Chelsea already has Hazard and Mata that are poor defenders...Marin is another...you can't effectively play all three at the same time. A nice player to put on if you are up by 2 goals but...can't defend...Why did they purchase him? I would rather give his time to Piazon...

marin should leave chelsea asap or here his career would get fecked here....he is a good player then most of the player here at chelsea....the problem is that he is not getting chance....and both of our managers never had the balls to try him...

I feel for the lad, we ought to have left him for a season more in werder bremen, I think we should loan him back there in january for the remainder of the season if we don't want to play him

I actually believe it's Falcao. Watching Chelsea play and all the chances we create in every game, he's gotta be thinking "I would've broken Messi's goals per season/ in a calender year record by now" surely ;)

As for Marin, no offense but if you bought a "Messi" for 6Mil then you seriously have issues. I was brought up by the "if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is" mantra

@Mq...LOL on Falcao's thought...yes, i was worrying that Torres 5 goal streak in 1 week might make our board rethink on buying a striker...But thank god, now we will definitely buy a striker and let that be Falcao. But, I dont agree on Marin. For 6m, we got a good player, only no manager rates him more than Hazard. But, give him chance over Hazard or Oscar, he can perform very well if not better than them. But, unlucky Marin that we have 3 players who are clearly above him in fitness. He will come handy in cup games.

I suppose he will BLU_RUN but I'm still skeptical, he's been too injury-prone for my liking. He'll need a good Carling Cup (whatever it's called) run to perhaps convince me otherwise

Give this guy some playing time and he could prove all of us wrong.... He deserved it rather than relying to the same horse all the time...

i just wonder why this guy have not been given a run, its beyond me! you can't give him game time when we were 3goals up against monterrey then you brought him in to play when all looks lost *smh* No one can tell me its because he's fragile or too small for christ sake am sure physique wise this guy must be bigger than sterling who plays for liverpool regularly. give him a run and try to trust him a little simple!

During pre-season he was our best player. He's extremely talented with the ball. I have no idea why we don't see him play.

what he needs is a prolong period starting games once his given that chance everyone will be shocked at why his not the first name on the team *****! he'll show just why he was prefered to ozil pre 2010 world cup
