Anelka Wants Out

Anelka Wants Out

Rumours reaching these shores suggest that our former French international striker, Nicolas Anelka, is heading back to the Premier League.

There appears to be an element of discontent spreading through those who chose to ply their trade in the Chinese League with it being inferred by the Daily Telegraph (amongst others) that Anelka is looking to cancel his contract with Shanghai Shenhua with two London clubs - West Ham United and Queens Park Rangers showing interest.

Thinking completely out of the box, could the Frenchman assist us on a short term basis considering our striker situation?

I wouldn't say no since we could get him on the cheap. Nico is such a fine player on the ball. Composed and confident. Sadly always misunderstood I think.

After the way he was treated by Gourlay & Buck, do you really think he will want to come back to Chelsea!!!!

I will not mind having him back at all. He's far better than Torres.

If only nicco or kalou where stil here, they would have been an upgrade to torres..with the problem we have in the strikin dept right now any help we can get is very much welcome whether its nico or someone else...we can stil snap up lucio as @don capon suggested,it wouldnt be a bad idea as he is now a free agent
