'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Can it be done?

Trace your minds back to the 2010-2011 season.

As always we started strongly, but then around December we had that really bad streak. I mean really bad, where we didn`t win a game for about 6 games or so? Yeah that one!

With talk of Man Utd having already won the title around January, we began a spirited comeback that saw us come from around 16 points behind Man Utd to only lose the title narrowly.

Now we are kind of in the same situation at the moment. So who is to say we can't do the same again?

It may be a little harder with so many gatecrashers trying to get in the top 4, but it's nowhere near impossible. If we play with the same determination and spirit like 3 years ago, why are we being doubted?

I actually do see us winning it this year, all joking aside. But we need faith, hard work and determination.

So come on guys! Keep the faith and stop being so naive like all those sports journalists. If they think it's just going to be a 2 horse race this year, they have got another thing coming.

KTBFFH!

2 years ago not 3! but at that time we had a drogba that was fired up after being dropped for torres. this time we have a torres that will start evry game no matter how ***** he is
Humza_96
you said if we play with thesame spirit but this squad we have dont seem that motivated , we caught up not because of ability but will to do so , anything is possible where i am from

i said it on ere as soon as we exited the champs league that we are closing to close the gap between us and manchester teams drastically and i still remain very optimistic about my predictions. its not a two horse race its three and we are never gonna be competing with everton and the likes come end of season even tho it looks like it now
BluesInMe
I doubt we'll mount any form of challenge with this players, they are just the madonna types with no zeal to win, we need to beef up and show them what its like to play for a club like cfc.

To do that we need a good DMF,A good striker and a wonderful winger to increase the squad depth and quality,we need fellaini/M'villa(whoever we get for 20m,james rodriguez/walcott for 20m and Falcao/Cavani then we can mount a successful title challenge
Hazard11
their's no doubt in my mind we can still win the title if and only if we get a striker or 2 who will garante us goals. Our other guys i.e harzard and oscar specifically need to be more accurate by scoring the chances they get and we'll be good enough to win it, cause i wouldn't have imagined even in my wildest dreams before the champs league triumph that we'll have such talent at chelsea, though am pretty sure these guys are still getting used to the league and we should wait for next season for them to show us what they can really do.

Now i am longin 4 the good old days, the players we have now have the skillset but lack the zeal and hunger to win, some play like they dont even care...thats not the kind of spirit to win a league, their is urgent need for reinforcement in vital positions like cf(most important) and dmf before we start talkin about winnin the league
Ken4CFC
Nice to be optimistic and after all we are Chelsea fans but i am sorry i dont share this optimism..hope i am proven wrong at the end of the season but i agree with those who say the BPL title this year is again a two horse race..i just want us closer to those guys than the 25 point gap they spotted us last season and a top 4 finish is an absolute must otherwise we are in serious trouble for next season.

i cannot wait for this season to be over...i have this feeling that the fat one will not win anything...except a hot dog eating contest with him as MVP.
