A Move for Bad-Boy Fellaini

A Move for Bad-Boy Fellaini

On the back of the inference yesterday, relating to Everton possibly being prepared to trade bad-boy Marouane Fellaini.

To that effect, the Evening Standard has decreed that Chelsea are preparing a bid, somewhere in the region of, £20 million for the 25year-old Belgian.

How does it rate on the truth factor scale?

Well we`d suggest something akin to a 5 out of 10!

NOTHING moves me until it's official. I've lived through too many rumors to not take anything serious recent as HULK

19,999,999 quid on hair. 1 on the lad. Quite a rip off.
18/12/2012 17:13:00
not worth more than the 20m we are apparently offering him. if everton accept 20m good if they want more they can fek off. and we can get m'villa or derossi

And u think de rossi will cost 20m eigh? Well if the money is 20m then we are good, if they are being stiff, we can add a coupla quids, we need fellaini as much as we need a top hot striker!!

Fellani could is worth and would cost more than £20million. He is everton's best player and they signed him for around £15million four years ago. A better valuation would be around 25-30million cos i dont think everton would be willing to sell and would only be ready to do business for a much bigger offer. However i have this funny belief that chelsea would make one big signing in january, either one of fellani or falcao. Time shall tell.

i think he is worth between between 20-25 million

All we need in January is a Striker that can score!! If we had that from the start of the season,we would be 3 trophies better by now!! Probably still be in the champs league. My worry however is that, even with Falcao and Fellaini in the team,we still wont play well cos it seems the players dont like tubby....or could it be that they dont respect him enough to pull their weight? Some players arent bothered if we are being honest!!
18/12/2012 18:14:00
Talkin abt january wishlist, mcheacran cnt be recalled because lampard will still get more games than him he should only come wen lamps leaves, instead of fellaini I will go for M'villa, instead of walcott on the wings I will go for james rodriguez then falcao is my choice of striker........
18/12/2012 18:18:00
Talking of Hulk, he might interest you to know that he is in world of *****tt now in zenit, with players and coaches at loggerheads with him, i am sure he will be regreting his move to that side of the town. his coupled with his performance he is more and more farther from the brazillian team and the coach. we might be seeing a shock move for the guy soon.
18/12/2012 19:29:00
@3nity We need a fighter and an accurate passer in midfield more than a striker, because we will create more chances, which our strikers, despite not being the most clinical, will convert.Falcao,on the other hand, will require service, which we currently lack, and we might witness the el nino case version 2.0.@hazard11 I also prefer James Rodriguez, but making business with Porto is always a ripoff and frankly the wing department is a little bit overcrowded.
18/12/2012 19:47:00
Have people actually seen m'villa play. A lot of you are claiming he's better than falani like you watch him week in and week out. I'm Moroccan and I follow the French league and Spanish league as much as I do the prem and I can tell you m'villa is not that good. Similar mikel maybe a little stronger but offers nothing attacking wise. He literally is as good as he was in the euros.... Not that good! And when people say they would have him ahead of falani it is laughable.
18/12/2012 20:12:00
We don't need a dm... We need a cm and falani is proven perfect in the prem
18/12/2012 20:14:00
be prepared to pay through the nose if a jan move for him happens. Everton will want a europa place if they can get one so wont let their best player go cheap if at all...

@ Dwonder, the Hulk story is a sad and cautionary tale of what happens when people make decisions based just on the love of money. Beyond all the issues you mentioned, the largest fan base of the club just wrote an open letter to the management saying that they want absolutely no colored players. Hulk and Witsel were the first dark skinned players ever to play for the can imagine the mess he is in a foreign, very cold (literally and emotionally ) country where he does not speak the language, has no fellow Brazilian buddies within the team, is hated by many of his team mates because of what he earns, ongoing issues with the coach, precipitous dip in form and then the very fans themselves make it clear they dont want you..right about now he must be thinking if it was worth whatever money he is being paid to invest the best 5 yrs of his professional career in this pit. If he were wise he should have either stayed in Porto where he was like a deity and among fellow portuguese speakers (essentially a home away from Brazil) or made the big career move to Chelsea and seen his career, profile and status blossom..but no he insisted on the extra on the side money from the dubious third party owner deal..Karma they say...If he still has half a clue he will pull the plug on this mess, take a major pay cut and cancel the contract to get out of dodge town the way Nico is trying to you hinted unless he does something fast to save this situation his prospects of being in the Selecao come 2014 with old vets like Scolari and Perraira now running that project is virtually nil.
19/12/2012 02:19:00
Torres for Hulk swap??What say??..Torres is white so Zenit fans will have no problem..Zenit can afford his salary..Hulk will add steel to our right hand side
19/12/2012 03:04:00
20m for Fellaini is a good deal. Once we offered 40m for Modric. With that comparision, this is a good one. Also get a clinical striker.

@humza, I am sorry to bring this up here, but I don't know if u'll go back to the article where u insinuated that I dream up facts, well here is a fact about fellaini that soccernet didn't dream up, fellaini is a midfielder who only played as a SS striker once in his professional career at club level and that is this season under moyes in everton, @humza, a little bit of research will always help u not to argue or point fingers the way u dim fit mate, here is a link of fellaini since his days in standard liege till date, read it and if u are on PC it will be easier than when on mobile, There is nothing to suggest that fellaini is a SS and ever excelled there before this season, thank u for making me clear this up once and for all
