Just Who Will it (Not) Be?
As the opening of the transfer window fast approaches, transfer speculation is rife as to who the big name striker is that Chelsea are chasing.
Today, delving through the various news sources, we`ve found snippets of information relating to three of our possible targets.
Firstly Edison Cavani, the Uruguayan striker has, reportedly , been the subject of a £45 million offer that Napoli have turned down, could that have come from us?
Secondly, our continued links with the Brazilian sensation that is Neymar, don`t seem ready to come to fruition with the player confirming that he is set to stay at Santos.
Thirdly, if we`re looking towards a slightly cheaper option in Demba Ba then that too could fall on deaf ears with Ba inferring that he`d prefer a switch from Newcastle to Paris St Germain, his boyhood idols.

As long as we get at least two strikers and a DM to sit alongside Luiz then I will be happy. It can be whoever from the list we have been linked with as they all could do a job for us! With sturridge going we can't just buy one striker we need to have 3 strikers in the squad to give competition to Torres,as at the moment he plays every game and has no players pushing him for a spot plus over relying on one main striker is very dangerous if he is injured. Same goes if we only had two strikers this again if one is injured we will be left with just two and worrying again! This is going to prove to be a very very vital transfer window I believe. Gonna be interesting and hopefully we get all our business done early and not at the bloody 12th hour!

We need to get alcao early in the window, and possibly Schurrle or Wi8llian too - not just for our own team reasons , but it will se the stall to attract Pep as a by-product. If we start to narrow the gap between us and UNited - overtaking City, and becoming the main title challengers .. why would Pep not want the job? We need to determine why November gives Chelsea the heebie-jeebies and eliminate the problem. Several seasons now we have suffeed the "bad moment" .and its cost us dearly

The truth is chelsea will attempt to activate falcao's release clause and will try to sign Villa if we can't get radamel falcao....chelsea will sign just a striker and victor moses will be our 3rd option for the CF role....so its either falcao or villa....while for the DM,nathaniel chalobah will be back and chelsea will only buy another if lampard leaves in january....so for now the only xmas gift we should be xpecting is a striker

We'll go all out for falcao, but I have me a feeling that we have a striker already in our crosshairs if falcao fails and we'll be left gaping, I think we should recall kalas and KDB, then buy a striker and we can get di miao*

I'm with DESMOND on this 1 (going all out for Falcao) because we cannot afford to experiment right now, this is just about the most pivotal moment of the club that if we misuse the chance, we could be LiverBlue, and then I'm sure Roman would lose interest altogether (especially with ffp rules trying to prevent the entrance of even more "Romans")

bringing Ake on is a great job, but please Rafa, if you read(I know he's not), bring on Feruz, I don't know why, but I have such a great feeling about that boy,play him when we are 3 or 4 goals up against weaker opposition,every minute will be huge for him.

i would very surprised if we dont leave Chalobah on loan for the remainder of the season. He wont get much game time here at all and he is coming on leaps and bounds at watford,so i am pretty confident that he will stay there for the whole season. We need him to carry on his development.

Falcao is going to be at AthL Madrid till the summer,so that's out of the question. He has confirmed that and Athl Management have released statements confirming that (gladdens my heart).

The only thing certain now is that sturridge would join liverpool on the 2nd and chelsea would be signing a striker in january and would attempt to conclude business as early as possible. Whoever the striker is is currently uncertain and so 99% of the names we have been linked with are just guess work by the media.

Looking like Falcao will have to wait until summer, which begs the question why Atletico didn't utilize him in the EL..? Simeone said it's a "technical decision..." Maybe we tried to negotiate, and it fell through, who knows? I'm putting money on a Villa loan

Villa seems the most likely, now that both Torres and Romeu's up on the bandwagon praising what a good signing their compatriot would be and how he would be welcome at the bridge. Hopefully a 6 month loan only, and as they told Lamps, once you're past 30 you don't get more than a 12 month contract... Falcao now would tie the hands of our next manager, so it's a more likely signing come summer... I hope we can ship Torres in as part of the package, but a risk is that Atletico will instead insist on Courtois...

I somehow feel that we have already finalised a signing and he may come for medical in the 1wk and signing will be completed. Trust Emenalo to find the right kind of players to suit us...Looks like Rafa & Emenalo are discussing transfers on a daily basis...

May God forbid chelsea to sign a washed up david villa, I can place a bet on it that we won't sign or loan him, I'll be grossly amazed if we do as he has nothing to offer us now, that said, there is this feeling I have that we are already in talks with athletico madrid, what falcao and athlethico madrid are saying is the same thing oscar and internacional said in the last summer, I am wary of falcao coming to chelsea as I have said in almost all articles, but the pointers is that roman having witnessed what this guy can do is not worried about him doing a torres or sheva

Roberto Soldado or Alvaro Negredo should be a considered if we must buy a striker. I'm just not cool with buying Villa; loaning him pending buying a better striker in the summer would however make more sense

Trust Emenalo ! Are you having laugh.
Buying the right players and releasing the wrong players at the wrong time, has been the weakest part of our club since Emenalo took over his role. 26 players out on loan at the last count. ManU have Ferguson, we have got an unqualified Emenalo. Say no more !
