Chalobah Reports Back!

One of our youngsters, out on loan, continues to make quite an impression.

Competing for a first team place, amongst a host of imported young foreign talent, hasn`t fazed Nathaniel Chalobah, the 18 year-old remains one of the first names Gianfranco Zola scribes on his team-sheet and with his loan deal set to expire after the fixture with Charlton today, Nathaniel is looking to see the season out at Vicarage Road with his loan deal getting the green light to be extended.

Speaking about his season and his ambitions, Nathaniel has remarked,

"It`s been an amazing season so far and I feel I`m progressing with every game."

"I`m flourishing under the manager but it`s my dream to play for Chelsea in the Premier League one day."

And that is something we fell will happen, sooner rather than later!

keep your head calm boy... Your chance will come

He should atleast remain there for remaider of the season. Good to see lukaku starting agaist fulham 2day.

Watford Ed. here. He's been PHENOMENAL; an absolute cut above. It's impossible to believe he only turned 18 recently. He is unbelievably cool on the ball, aware, intelligent and a canny user of the ball too. I hope we can keep him for the rest of the season because he is genuinely an automatic pick.

@wfc123..this is really good to hear from a watford fan..good stuff!!
layorh12
@wfc123, left for me, I think he'll be best suited for our pivot as he is immensely defensive and good while going forward, but I don't think he'll be recalled, be rest assured he will be given the permission to extend his stay with u lot, thank u for the glowing encomiums on our young chap, he is part of our future and zola is part of our past, when he returns to the bridge, he'll almost be a ready product!

@layorh12, I don't think I have ur twitter account, so sorry my happy new year message is coming late, I wish u a happy new year and a fulfilled one in all ur endeavours, happy new year to all my nigerian brothers, happy new year to all Vital chelsea family!
Desmondadonis
Happy new year comrades. Nathan is as good as any defensive midfielder we currently have but i'd say let him stay at Watford till the end of the season. The same applies to Josh at Riverside.
BOTUM
Nath would grace the blue shirt for us very soon,he should just keep his head down and continue to work hard,he is not the finished article yet so he shouldnt believe the papers and let the hypes get into his head.

if today we had an consistent manager who had managed chelsea for last 6-7 season....then i dont think we would had to let so many our young talented player playing on loan somewhere else...most of them would had made their cut in the first team specially josh...but sad we dont have one...

Chalobah is an awesome prospect and is going to be a chelsea captain and stalwart for years to come! the boy has everything, and has already passed josh as our most promising talent! he is easily in the team of the championship mid way through this season and im sure he will end up as the young player of the season in the championship! the thing that worries me is that while Chalobah is looking like a premiere player banging out top performances every single week in a tough league poor old josh is looking like a championship player just plodding along! i have a feeling josh may not make the transition into the chelsea first team like Chalobah will. im looking forward to seeing Chalobah,Lukaku,Feruz,Ake,Boga and Piazon making the step up in the next few seasons. Very exciting
Dave-David
well if Chalobah makes the chelsea grade and Josh doesnt then tough s***. its with Josh to make it happen with all his ability but somehow doesnt seem to take his opportunities
eddy_theeel
Lets loan him back to Watford...maybe next year to any EPL team...he will become a chelsea regular after that...great talent and high leadership quality...future captain material...
Blu_run
IMO once Josh or Chalobah have a successful loan spell at an EPL club then they might get a chance in the first team. I hope we score 4 goals in the first half against QPR so that Rafa might give Lucas, Ake & Marko a chance.

Chelsea have extended the loan move of chalobah to watford!! So it stops the speculation about him coming back to cobham
Desmondadonis
our future captain !
