A Shaw Thing!
Such is our status these days we, inevitably, are linked with every decent youngster out there.
Luke Shaw, down at Southampton, is your typical example.
Just 17 years of age, Shaw has already made in-roads into becoming a regular in the Southampton starting eleven and has impressed numerous scouts and managers.
However, despite how many times Shaw is linked with a move away from the Hampshire club, their boss, Nigel Adkins, is adamant that he Is not for sale, remarking
"He`s under contract and we are not looking to let him go anywhere."
With Arsenal, Manchester City and ourselves already linked with the player, does anyone else get the feeling someone, very soon, will test Adkins resolve!

Well he is sure an exciting prospect, but I don't think we need him as he is not better and experienced as PVA and betrand, so we can leave him and bolster our squad elsewhere, hope u are feeling better now merlin?

Am actually not commenting on this article,I am actually having an argument here,I just want you guys to help me out,as u comment on this article pls also comment on this question,removing club setiments and player preference...hazard and pedro who is a better player?

Merlin give the lad another year or so to develop more and then he may become more tempted as indeed might we to accept an offer worth millions.

We should sign him. Watch any Southampton game - this chap looks seriously precocious. Perfect backup for Bertrand once ashley leaves, and soon after that he'll have overtaken Bertrand in the pecking order. On the Pedro vs Hazard front, Pedro is clearly better, but is also older, and was not as good at 22 as Hazard is now. Once Hazard learns to be more direct and effective I feel sure he'll eclipse Pedro.

Pedro is a fantastic player and I think he is better than hazard though stats will prove otherwise, as wiggis as said, pedro's game is more mature than hazard's and he is a complete goal scorer than hazard.

Lb is not our priority now,we already have cole,bertrand and pva...shaw can go to wherever but i dont think we need him here

luke shaw....chelsea shouldnt miss him this guy....a young left back if we have to put money then put on this guy....he is a good talent to miss....and reagarding pedro and hazard botb are brilliant and im so happy that hazard is with us....people who are having problem with hazard consistent i just wanna say....this is hazard first season with chelsea and that also in other country and that also with all new players and also trying to adjust into a system a different style of footbal here at chelsea which was different from last season.....and than also inspite of that the guy has so much assist and has decent goals also....and also he is just 21 he is not a 27-28 year old guy so he is still developing into a mature person....and biggest of that he is playing with two different managers...so you cant blame him..and regarding pedro playing in a same system which he plays in the youth system at barcelona...playing beautiful attacking football with messi xavi inesta and with a consistent managers with a club which is regarded one of the best in the world.....so there is no.point in saying who.is better ...give hazard a season or more with see the difference....next season you guys will find a different hazard let him open up and then we see who is the best...

@shlok27, this is not a condemning hazard, we are just basing our argument on who is better now, right now pedro is better than pedro, but we all know if hazard plays for 2 years consistently under a manager then I'll say he has the potential of being better than pedro

Pedro is better than Hazard as he is much more direct, has developed his game in the attacking 3rd and scores goals than Hazard. But when you consider their age difference you can conclude that Hazard will be far better than Pedro when he gets older.

luke shaw will be englands left back for the next 10 years! will fly past bertrand and PVA i would bring him in now to play as first choice next season,hands down top top talent
