Benayoun Heading off to St Mary`s?

Yossi Benayoun, having seen his season long loan deal at West Ham cut short, could be off elsewhere on another loan spell.

The Israeli international, currently recovering from an injury, is being linked with a move to Southampton where Nigel Adkins sees him as the perfect replacement for his injured skipper Adam Lallana.

We`ll provide more information if and when it becomes available.

god knows why we bought him in first place...he has become a cargo getting shipped from one plac to another..he is a good player but he made a wrong decesion of playing here...where is our french whizkid malouda...havent heard anythn about him...must be scoring lot of goals in playstation...
shlok27
Anyone remember an ex-L'pool doing well at the bridge? Joey Jones perhaps, but the recent bunch of muppets have let us down continually; Torrid, Meuseless, Benithus, and the aforesaid Beynaclown.
Pantisocrates
@Pantisocrates, hilarious. that was beautiful but please take off Meuseless, coz he did OK here
EliteBlue
Shlok27, this is a better u, rotflmao!!! Must be scoring lots of goals on playstation, well on the article, I get so angry when I realize that we have never enjoyed anything from liverpool, now we gave them a player that would be useful for them in the next decade!! When they keep mugging us
Desmondadonis
Could've used him ourselves with Moses off to Africa. Would've provided an extra option out wide. Sort of bloke who can come on late and change the game.
Carefree_1990
Benyaclown hardly does him justice. He was doing ok, and his situation could've been quite different if he hadn't picked up that injury in 2010, which the Chelsea medics never sussed out. Then in the pre season under AVB he did quite well, and ginger's response was to send him out to loan. It was us who didn't do right by him.

Sorry to be so negative but i could care less if Banayoun was sent to the moon as long as whoever we send him to actually buys him of our hands. how much longer do we have to be paying this guys substantive wages while he has done virtually nothing substantive ever for us. What a miserable piece of business buying this guy was.
GabeU
Was not. Though hoping he could step into Joey boy's shoes might've been us being too hopeful. But he was a decent enough player when we bought him.
Carefree_1990
Surely there are clubs willing to buy him. Southampton arent going to pay much of his wages anyways. Just need to get him off the payroll fast
ktm_blues
Benni is a good player. Unfortunately he is bogged with so many injury woe that we can't afford to have him in our squad particularly with Marin now in the team. My affection for him has waned significantly since his ill thought comments during his loan to asrenal but I still wish him well.
Dwonder
Offtopic!!! Why didn't we go for draxler instead of marin?...a fantastic player if u ask me
Desmondadonis
THis just goes to show the lack of true organizational skills at Chelsea...
lamarochs
Part of the deadwood that needs to be shipped out with Malouda.
Elbowz
Why not just sell this guy,he is useless to us...inform qpr of his availabily and the scavengers would be here to pick up his scalp
Ken4CFC
He will find himself out of the team in not very long time to come
Kendemsblue
@Ken...your post is both funny and harsh...poor poor benayoun...!!
layorh12
Sorry for that @layor
