Taison Mystery!

One of our leading tabloids, if not the leading tabloid, has come up with an interesting theory with regards to the supposed stalled transfer of Taison to Stamford Bridge.

It suggests that a deal had all but been brokered for the 24 year-old Metalist Kharkiv player. A fee, in the region of 8.5, had reportedly been agreed along with personal terms with negotiations between Chelsea Football Club and the Metalist Kharkiv owner Oleksandr Yaroslavsky, before an almighty spanner was thrown in the works.

It appears that Yaroslavsky sold the club to Serhiy Kurchenko and, for some reason or other, the new owner has no desire to do business with Roman Abramovich. Instead, it now looks as if the player is headed for Shakhtar Donetsk!

I am not overtly impressed neither am I depressed by this piece of news, taison would be a squad player if we buy him, but it seem shakter were smart to buy a player that is similar to willian in playing style, so they'll have a replacement if and when willian move to the PL next summer, as tottenham and chelsea are long time admirers, on the article, since chelsea didn't have anything on paper when they agreed the deal before the take over, then the new management have the right to sell at a higher or lower price to whoever they want, but for khakiv to sell one of their best player to a local rival, than a foreign club, I think there might be a hidden part to this story

Yea,Desm...,there is something fishy about this situation. How can they possibly sell one of their key players to a local/title rival at a possible lower price against selling him to a foreign club at a decent xchange rate? Unless the new owners relationship with RA has gone bloody. All the same, the deal is not one of high priority so am carefree.

If he has gone to Shakthar,it means Willian is on his way out,and if Cfc could back down on Taison, maybe there is a sort of arrangement that will Willian sign for Chelsea, fingers crossed.

Hopefully our board won't be at the Donbass arena with a 40m offer. They can be such fools

@ohans its likely a club have a gentleman agreement with willian as I can't figure out why willian having joined the shakter squad with reports on twitter saying he is still in brazil, willian or isco, who knows, I just hope our fortunes change quickly on the pitch for the rest of the season

I am not losing sleep over this..i never wanted the guy anyway..we have way to many dimunitive CAMs as it is already. What we need most are another striker, a solid no 2 goalie and a central mid field general. Now if that second striker could also play as a quality right winger that would be better still...unfortunately it appears Walcott who would have ticked several of those boxes wont be available after all..it appears Wenger has finally began to wise up.

That is what i suspect Desmond...though it has uncertainty written over it,but it is possible. But the amount that maybe involved in signing Willian and the obvious fact we are overladen in that department makes me think the move is wrong. I dont want us to be officially a talent strangling club.

I read an article that Kdb is even having second thoughts on coming back to the bridge, he is thinking of staying permanently with werder bremen

Good for him @ desmondadonis. With the way our club is doing things, kdb will do well to stay in a properly organised and focus club in germany.

KDB is right in thinking in that direction, the lack of first team chances and the unhealthy atmosphere which is fast becoming a norm at the club is not what every youngster would want to have a feel of. You can imagine what will be running through Lucas Piazon's head right now. To me,all these problems are down to our misfiring striker, cos if we had started the season with a goal scoring CF like Ba,we wouldnt have been too cautious in trying out our younger stars, since the team would have developed a degree of confidence through constant winning.
