Cole Prefers Premier League Option

Speculation has been rife that Ashley Cole could be heading abroad this summer.

Having rejected the offer of a one year deal, and with Chelsea not coming back to the table, it had been reported that Cole would be bound for ether Paris St Germain or Real Madrid, with some sources implying that talks have already begun.

However, it transpires that Cole would prefer to stay in the Premier League and that if no further offers are forthcoming from Chelsea will wait for Manchester United to get in contact this summer.

Own goal anyone?

Well I don't blame him if I'm honest, he'd walk into almost every team right now so he shouldn't move country just because of the idiocy of our board.
CalculatedKalou
Who can blame Ashley. If our short sighted board wish to offload him. Good luck Ash, thanks for the memories, go to ManU, no one will blame when you come back and rub our noses in it. No doubt Roman will be on his yaucht that day. Our board are embarrassing.
Blueheart9
yacht sorry !

I have no doubt that Ashley is capable of doing this. He is probably *****ed at the board and he is the sort of person i suspect who may have a vindictive streak about him and would really like to stick it to our board. It will really be painful if both he and Lamps end up with ManU because if they do rest assured they will have huge chips on their shoulders and will be out to really stick it to Roman and the three amigos rather than the fans. At this point while i agree with the boards decision on Ashley (they offered him a one year rolling contract with option for renewal which is way better than they afforded lamps) what i have a problem with is us not recalling PVA so he and Ryan can battle it out now to see who Ashleys successor should be. ryan has looked really shaky recently and his showings havent exactly been confidence inspiring.

IMO Chelsea board will sign Cole's replacement in the Summer.
B2K420
If he goes we would find it hard to get a like for like replacement, I wish our scouts are working hard to unearth the new ashley cole, or are they waiting for the newcastle fans or swansea fans to locate such talent before hijacking the deal as they do most times
Desmondadonis
They won't end up at united becos united won't pay silly wages to Cole and lamps. I see both going abroad
Pila12
thanks again roman...it is now a possibility that two of our premier players will be a manure and I will have to boo them...THANKS ROMAN.
Gian-Franco/Luca
I really he will not be offered a new contract, then there is someone in the waiting to be signed and so to say, chelsea will be in for the competition in the season to start

It's so funny most fans take a dig at the board at any given chance. Do you guys remember the troubles the board/CFC went through to get Ashley in the 1st place? if the board now think it's time to move him on, we should support them.
jollyheart Torres
The board will surely get someone else better or close to Cole quality to replace him.

One player I wish we didn't sell us Yuri Zhirkov. Capable at LB, LM, and LW

He was to go basing on the time he had on the field and that he had on the treatment table.
