'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Will He, Won`t He?

It`s the question on everybody`s lips!

Will Frank Lampard, in probably his last season at Chelsea Football Club, go on to break the all-time Chelsea scoring record held by Bobby Tambling

Having edged ahead of Kerry Dixon last week, with his penalty against Stoke, Frank made it 195 Chelsea goals with another penalty, against Arsenal yesterday.

With fifteen Premier League games left, one (possibly two) Capital on Cup tie left, several FA Cup ties and hopefully several Europa League fixtures to play, the burning question is, will Frank Lampard leave this club a sour record scorer or will he fall agonizingly short?

Your views on this subject would be most appreciated.

With the remaining games left, and being injury free. am quite certain he will break the record,
jayb
I do hope he breaks the record and that hsi team mates help him along the way the same way we saw the entire Barca team force feeding Messi last year to ensure he beat Gerd Muller's hallowed record. It would be a fitting bookend to his storied career as a Chelsea blue.
GabeU
He will for sure.
BOTUM
I'm sure he will, especially if he stays injury free and judging by the way he plays right now (avoid tackling, make minimal ball contact but stay in the opponents 18) he'll probably exceed it by 10
@Mq
You can see from his conduct that it's the only reason he plays lately, hardly to help the team much (only when easy) but certainly to score
@Mq
Merlin.Try to minimise these Lampard articles.Its dividing everyone.

we cant carry a player 4 self gain.what if the club brings a good dmf like benat modric or capour ,will lamps bench them.

Merlin.Lampard is staying.Don't worry.He'll be given a contract at the end of the season.
cfc250
I hope he Is positionally disciplined and bids his time before surging forward, he'll cost us if we are playing tough teams if he doesn't have positional discipline
Desmondadonis
Judgin by his recent performance he would surely break the record especially if hazard,rami and mata keeps winin us spot kicks

I reckon Lamps will go pass Tambling's goalscoring record and if he does achieve it I hope the club overturn the decision giving him a new contract.
Elbowz
I hope he will. Amin. If not, I wont say he fell agonizingly short. He already exceeds what is expected from an employee of Chelsea FC (ambassador, winning trophies, stay back after training etc). The only thing that left is to honour his contract and leave by the end of the season, maybe only then all these haters will be happy. But to me, when the time arrived, I really dont think the haters will be satisfied, as more articles about the man will be published, and they will keep on giving negatives response in the comment section, without realizing that they are actually giving him respect by reading and responding.
Gaban
Would be nice to see him do it and should be supported by the other team mates.

lamps must stay...that is all i gotta say....oh yeah feck all lamps haters
Gian-Franco/Luca
He will break the record barring injury.
