Marin - Off On Loan?

Marin - Off On Loan?

Rumours are circulating that our German winger, Marko Marin may be heading off on loan.

Marin, who has only featured eight times this season, since signing in the summer, is being linked with a loan move to CSKA Moscow.

It appears that the 23 year-old is keen to remain in the thoughts of the German national coach and not drift away from the international scene through a lack of action.

His agent, Fali Ramadami, speaking about the situation, has remarked to the media,

"Marko wants more playing time."

Unfortunately, it`s hard to argue with the reasoning behind what appears to be about to happen

if Marin goes on loan this tranfer window it will the clearest indication that there will definitely the new arrivals...which i think is an absolute must even if marin is staying....leeme add that with KDB coming in next season and also the possible arrival of Isco...ts difficult to see where Marin would fit in on the long run at chelsea....except he improves his physical fitness clubs could be harsh somtimes...wish him all the best..he looks like a really nice lad though.

i will be sad to see him go, i think he might decide not to return again if he gets playing time there and gets into their 1st 11

Godspeed Marko - not ready to play week in week out for chelsea yet but he does have quite a bit about his game...lets see if he can perform at a smaller club a la Lukaku then bring him back in the summer to compete for his place, or sell him. I think he was really only ever bought when things looked really dire for chelsea last season and we didnt look like we would be in the UCL. I rate Marko though and if we cant have him, whoever does will be lucky to have him in the medium to long term, IF he stays injury free....

Its a pity Marin isnt getting a regular starting berth with us. I really wanted him to go far with us and living up to his potentials. It appears that wont be,but loaning him clearly indicates he wont have a future with us.

I am very sure that wherever he goes he'll definitely be a big hit, studge is already impressing and I am sure the decision makers at the club will be scratching their heads, this lad have not been given any playing time under rafa, the "tactical nous " manager deeming it fit to play him only 5 minutes each time he remembers him, this is a player most fans were impressed with in preseason, we didn't give him a chance to prove himself and it is just a shame, if he was bought for 30m I am sure he'll be in the lineup in all games.

marin has been the most underrated player at chelsea....his talent has been underestimated here...he is one of the best talent and we should be happ he is here...but im not happy with the way he has been treated here...not giving him eniugh chance to showcase his talent and i dont understand people havent seen him play to the max and they are giving the verdict that he is not physical fit for can you judge a player when you havent see play enough matches...thats why i hate with the club decesion to give players like torres chance after chance inspite of bad performance and player like danny marin hasnt been given opourtunity at all...i hope he join other club and think about his future...i dont want a great talent like him gets wasted here...he will be a hit wherever he goes there is no doubt about it...

we should give him a run in the Europa League and other Cup competitions we are in for the rest of the season before judging him. I have a gut feeling that he would be a superstar if we give him a run of games.
23/01/2013 17:58:00
Why let him go when we clearly lack squad depth in the Attacking Midfield and Defensive midfield positions? from what I've seen he can cross better than oscar...
23/01/2013 18:34:00
Though i have significant concerns his physical sturdiness and ability to absorb the wear and tear of the rough and tumble BPL he has not in fact had that many opportunities. To loan him out will be utter madness if we dont first sign some reinforcements because this squad of ours is paper thin as is. As someone has said already he should at least get played consistently in the Europa league.
23/01/2013 18:39:00
why would we want to loan him out like we are not playing in europa league ??? madness so we would only have mazacar and moses who is not available , who the ***** is running this club

Marin has been barely used, but we have to remember that the same thing happened to Ivanovic. They're nothing alike in terms of the types of players they are, and I agree that Marin's size is a concern. But I'm hoping his slow integration is going somewhere; otherwise, he shouldn't be loaned--he should be sold. Why buy a player if you have no use for him? And for the record, I think it's grossly unfair. Marin had that one nightmare tackle, but that shouldn't overshadow his work when he does play. He's clever, dynamic on the ball, and he can cross it! Ba is good in the air, and we have loads of CBs who are strong there as well. I want to see more of Marin because I value a good cross. We have been dreadful at playing the ball in the air for I don't know how many years now.

I think Marin's looked lively from what I've seen (given that he's finding his feet at a new Club and has struggled with injury since arriving) and I would like to see him get some more playing time. Now that Hazard faces a ban whilst Moses is in Africa, letting Marin go would be madness!

Silly more him leaving on loan. Despite his lack of play time, we need him in he squad at present particularly with having lost Piazon also on loan this transfer window. @SpanishBlue - agree with you on that!
