Hazard Charged by FA!

It seems that the Football Association, after deliberating over footage of the Hazard incident for over a day, has decided to pursue their pound of flesh.

News broke that the FA had charged Eden Hazard with violent conduct this afternoon, with Eden having until 18:00 hours on Tuesday to respond.

Not the news we wanted to hear is it!

One hopes that the adjudicating panel will see sense upon reviewing the footage. Totally unnecessary from the FA.

This is the same FA that earlier this year ruled that RVP elbowing a Wigan player and which was clear as day did not warrant any sanction...this whole charade called the FA is so rotten it isnt even funny anymore. Well let us wait and see how many additional games ban they tag on to the basic is Chelsea after all and there is a special way we are treated, on the far left of the spectrum, a special way ManU are treated, on the far right of the spectrum (of course David Gill being on both the FA board and ManU admin board has nothing to do with it) and then everyone else in the BPL falls somewhere in the middle.

So the same organisation who appealed Rooney stamping on someone charge Hazard for kicking the ball. The same Rooney clearly elbowed James Mccarthy and there was no sanction perhaps it wasn't a violent act? English Fa is a very BIG joke and a disgusting organisation.

Time and time again, the FA bully us into submission and we just lie down and die because its the FA...Totally unnecessary to Charge Eden, its like giving the ball boy a thumbs up for his actions. Disgraceful *****s at the helm of affairs in the FA,I'm honestly gutted.

Not suprised at all. The FA however deems Hazards punishment "clearly unsufficient". Does that mean additional match ban or a fine. Time will only tell. Could we afford for Hazard to be banned for that much long( beyond 3 games). Well there is still time to add depth to our already depleated squad. Or at least recall one of our loanees( De Brynne).

It is time for cfc fans to stand up against this ridiculous FA...forget all the infighting against Rafa etc, it is times like this, more than any other, when we need to get our voice heard... There was absolutely no intent in Eden's gesture, he made no contact with the ball, and the ref had allowed them time and time in that game to waste time. Normally teams are a bit more discrete when they do it, but most referees react quickly to stop it...their keeper was wasting time in the 1st HALF - c'mon...If referee Foy had acted earlier they would have behaved themselves but bcos it was chelsea who'd previously charged them in the Mikel case, they sometimes stop doing their job against us...Disgraceful

not sure if you guys saw this but before the game Charlie Morgan (the ballboy) said on his twitter "The king of all ball boys is back making his final appearance #needed #for #timewasting" this is ridiculous he even flat out said he was going to waste time. how is Swansea not getting punished too?! Hazard's only crime was he missed the kids head.

David Gill should not be on the FA board, it is a conflict of interests and an absolute disgrace. Look at the footage, Hazard kicked the ball. Chelsea should now make an official complaint about Swansea FC and their matchday responsibilities. We need to get someone of the stature of Marcel Desaiily to take over the PR of our club. This past year the clubs image around the world has plummeted to an all time low. Is has to stop.

"The king of all ball boys is back making his final appearance #needed #for#timewasting". The word '#needed' is clearly an indication that this little brat was instructed by Swansea to perpetrate that act. Its so painful that those who are suppose to look into this tweet have decided to turn their blind eyes because its chelsea. I 'm highly disappointed that the English Fa is being run by the Manures. Waht a joke!

The English FA is a dirty and filthy bunch. They sure enjoy the huge amount collected from Cfc players as fines for every little incident. Damned lots they are!! Feck!! Hazard can only be subjected to further blame and punishment by a very biased opinion. Even my ManUre supporting sibling didnt see much thing to crucify Hazard for. I didnt rule out the FA sticking out their ugly heads on Hazard though, but its kinda surprising given that the truth is naked for all to see. These is so unfair, the ball man held the ball too long, leaving Hazard with no option but to kick out the ball from underneath him. The age difference between them is not even much, how come Hazard is now being treated like a bully when clearly the ball man pushed him too far. Yet he didnt hurt him. Am Gutted!!

All I can do is laugh. When will the FA stand up and take its own decisions. When the daily mail says sneeze the FA says how hard, when sky say jump the FA says how high it's a complete joke. I like the idea of désailly back at the club, he'd take no prisoners.

Could still be a 3 match ban, but a hefty fine behind it. After all the FA coffers must be a bit depleted after their Christmas party, funded by the fines against our lot from last year.

If Chelsea was smart...and that is a big big if...They should put their arms around Hazard...tell him that they love him and for him to forget it...also that he should take his family and go sit on a nice warm beach somewhere and get some rest and relaxation. And that everyone will see him back at practice in a couple of weeks....and for him to forget about it....and to go have some fun with his family...That is what Chelsea should do...if they were SMART...

I found this on another article's comment section and is very interesting indeed . In a match between Oxford United and Slumdown Town 3 march 2012. Slumdown player Matt Ritchie shoved a 14 year old ballboy in the chest and knocked the ball out of his hands. He was only given a yellow card by Graham Salisbury. More intresting though was the answer FA gave to a letter Myles Francis wrote describing this incident: "Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. The FA has investigated and liaised with Oxford United on this matter. The player was cautioned by the Referee for the incident and has subsequently apologised to the satisfaction of the ballboy and Oxford United. Kind regards Gary Stonehouse | Customer Relations Communications Division The FA Group "

This is ridiculous. It is the ball boy who should be banned. He even apologised to Hazard in the dressing room. Hazard too apologised (even though he had done no wrong in my eyes) and relevant parties said the matter is closed. Now comes the people in power to make a fool of themselves and English football. I don't feel like watching English football anymore.

everyone knows the FA is a bunch of asslickers who will jump at the chance to fine/ban the best players of the clubs they hate. Maybe that is why chelsea dropped the Mata charges during the Clattenburg trouble, since they subsequently had mikel banned and we could not afford to lose Mata. Everyone, barring that idiot Rio Ferdinand (who kicked a stewardess at stamford bridge and got nothing, who posted a racial comment on twitter but got a minor fine - all stuff with proof but somehow the ***** gets away with it) have been supportive of hazard, and the FA has gone and called it violent conduct. Even the daily mail, which began with some horrid articles and headlines against hazard, has got some common sense prevailing there.

FA are nothing but a bunch of hypocrites and we all should expect this from them especially after JT's matter..... Eden should just serve whatever punishment they shell out and put it behind and focus on football

Ironic how the Brits always scream about foreign players rolling about on the floor. Now when an honest foreign player does an honest thing (trying to get on with the match) and a little **** of a Brit rolls around pathetically like he's got a bullet wound, the FA STILL wants to crucify the foreigner!
