Those of you following the African Cup of Nations might have had more than a passing interest in the fixture between Nigeria and Ethiopia yesterday.
It ended 2-0 to Nigeria and saw the Nigerian side ease into the quarter-finals where they will play the Ivory Coast.
However, what would have really caught the eye was the performance of Victor Moses with the Chelsea player netting both goals from the penalty spot, incidentally from spot-kicks he`d won.
The first came after Moses had been fouled by an Ethiopian defender, Alula Girma, whilst the second game after the Ethiopian keeper, Sisay Bancha, had brought him down.
Discussing the win, Moses later tweeted,
"So proud. A great win for our country."
The quarter-final, against the Ivory Coast, promises to be an intriguing encounter.
