Following the dramatic finish to our Premier League fixture last night, a finish that left us Chelsea supporter`s stunned, Rafa Benitez`s after match thoughts were a little perplexing.
Talking about the equalizer, Rafa remarked,
"It was a bad mistake. There is a sense of disbelief in the dressing room."
Whilst adding about our apparent control of the game,
"Everybody could see the game was under control for us until the last minute. The players are really disappointed."
"It`s difficult to explain what happened. For 85 minutes we were dominating and created enough chances to score four or five. It is very tough to take."
But, distancing himself from a blame culture philosophy, our interim manager commented,
"We will all take responsibility, we don`t blame anyone. We`re still in a really good position in the table but it could have been better."
It certainly could be better Rafa, those two lost points could have serious implications come May and where we finish in the Premier League!
