Rafa`s Reading Thoughts!

Following the dramatic finish to our Premier League fixture last night, a finish that left us Chelsea supporter`s stunned, Rafa Benitez`s after match thoughts were a little perplexing.

Talking about the equalizer, Rafa remarked,

"It was a bad mistake. There is a sense of disbelief in the dressing room."

Whilst adding about our apparent control of the game,

"Everybody could see the game was under control for us until the last minute. The players are really disappointed."

"It`s difficult to explain what happened. For 85 minutes we were dominating and created enough chances to score four or five. It is very tough to take."

But, distancing himself from a blame culture philosophy, our interim manager commented,

"We will all take responsibility, we don`t blame anyone. We`re still in a really good position in the table but it could have been better."

It certainly could be better Rafa, those two lost points could have serious implications come May and where we finish in the Premier League!

Let me tell u what happened u wino, bertie on the wing against a less attacking team, instead of marin or torres, bringing a fresh BA on in the 90th minute, and not using terry to cordinate the back line and shutting shop on the 80th minute mark, that is what happened, and to add again, not observing what u are paid to observe in terms of how the game should be played and how to read the game, you rafa have cost us too much and I hope for our sakes u either leave or toughen up

I blame someone Rafa. You! You're the Manager and it's your job to know what went wrong (again!) last night and to put it right. With the huge quality of playing staff that we have available (only City have a stronger squad in terms of quality and that is debatable), we should be beating sides like Reading, Brentford, QPR, Swansea, Southampton, Fulham and Corinthians. Yes, occasionally every side slips up but those monumental cock ups have all come in just over 2 months, that is staggeringly bad and the buck stops at the Manager. Now stop whinging and do something about it if you're such a tactical genius or bugger off and leaves us alone!

"It was a bad mistake of roman appointing me...i fooled him this time....i was doing nothing and i wanted some fast money so i took this job by paying his muppet some share...i know if he sack me i will get my huge share of money...but dont know why the hell is he not sacking im making chlesea play poor but then also he is not firing me...come roman sack me as soon as possible...cant take it anymore roman please sack me now..he tought i would make torres score but i that know torres nowadays cant even score in the bed also...beg you roman please sack me...get me out of this misery..." rafa real quote

Rafa really want to punch you in the head...hmm starting to think he actuslly wants to lose....hes either one of the shietiest managers to have ever scraped a trophy or two...or hell bend on dragging us down..i dont know what to believe
Clingy
Lol shlok. I got so many typos hate my phone

He surely have a point theshedender.com/2013/01/view-from-the-shed/azpilicueta-opponents-dont-fear-us

Shlok27s post again has my in stitches..laughing so hard..it may even have an element of truth to it..at this point Rafa may actually be praying for the sack so he can get his severance and be spared this misery. He is clearly not enjoying his job and we the fans are certainly not enjoy the end product on the pitch. As for our boys it has been long that i have seen them play with joy and ease..they all look so tired, tense and mentally exhausted.

Sorry for all the typos in my last post..i needed that laugh..its been rather sour here on VC for some time.

RDM after the Juve 3-0 loss..."If anyone has to take blame, it's me. I selected a team I was convinced would win or at least draw," "We have hope. Mathematically it is still possible for us.". You spot the difference?
nelyvanile
@nely, the difference is as clear as daylight.... That is the difference between someone that cares and someone that don't and someone who will take responsibility and another who will absolve himself of it... Shame
Desmondadonis
@nely,but this is not juve, this is reading ffs and the squad sent out yesterday was good enough to beat reading silly even without a coach....tbh do u think rdm would have said same thing had we drawn to reading under this same circumstance???...we all know rafa rarely takes responsibility but on this occasion he took the blame upon himself and his team(which is rightly so)...
Ken4CFC
We need to finish in the top 4 and do the necessary changes at the end of the season
Kendemsblue
"we're really in a good position", really? we could be top of the league if we hadnt lost or drawn against so many teams in the relegation battle...time to face up to reality Tubbster!!
JohnnyOz
It went back to 13points gap from the top and will really need a deep and miracle to get to the top his time round
