State of Play

Honestly speaking, I don't get it!

We have dropped points on so many occasions that it has become the norm. You can almost count on us to capitulate at the end of games now. Some would speculate that it's because of the appointment of RAFA and some might say it`s the players or bad luck or whatever.

In my own estimation, we are all to blame. You don't have to agree with me, it`s just my opinion. The Board is culpable for not considering the Rafa fallout with fans and its potential to cause a disruption in team spirit.

For me, RAFA was brought in to get Fernando firing. However, it's my humble view that Fernando's problem is personal, he has lost his passion, plain and simple. His body language is that of a deer caught in front of a hunter .

Secondly, for players, the majority of whom just went through the gruelling experience of winning the Champions League, I have not seen one iota of passion and desire to play for the badge on the shirt. I mean really play heart and soul for the fans, for self-respect, for the love of the game, except from Ashley Cole, Petr Cech, Ramires and Mata.

I purposely didn't mention Frank and JT because I don't think that I have the right to question them after what they have done for Chelsea Football Club.

Our club's professionalism and standing are being questioned, what will be our response. Thirdly, we the FANS, well personally I don't care for Rafa just as a lot of other fans but in as much as he holds the mantle of Coach of THIS Football Club, I will treat him professionally and wish him the very best, not berate him at every turn and abuse him constantly.

It`s not an appointment that would seem ideal but at the end of the day if he fails, Chelsea fails. It stands to reason that if you like me value and love this club you would want it to succeed regardless of the Coach.

So I take this opportunity to ask all Chelsea Fans all over the world to band together, STOP THE ABUSE and SUPPORT OUR BELOVED BLUES , SUPPORT RAFA and in the end our storied Club will benefit. One Heart, One Body, One Resolve, One CHELSEA!

nice one kdnachi - but the only thing that will relieve the abuse on Rafa is a winning run...we have not even come close to putting one together since he's been here...I really fear for him now if he doesnt win all his next games

Johnny - the only constant since rafa's appointment is the abuse! All I am saying is that we as fans act professionally and from this point forward, support him and the team fully. Put aside our differences for the good of Chelsea!

Mate don't take this personally as I don't know you from Adam, but I've been a CFC fan since I was 4(35 now) and have been going to the bridge every single season! What the club has done in puttin the FSW in charge is totally show the fans that they actually don't care what they think. Just like when roman tried to buy a load of shares in the CPO thus trying to get enough shares to get the pitch owners onside! All under hand and totally wrong. You need to be transparent with the fans and try as hard as you can to do things they see to help the club not drag it though torrid times. Putting rafa in charge was a huge mistake and after reading Bruce bucks email reply to a fan they know it was a mistake too. I'm hoping they rectify these mistakes in the future as at the moment I have two friends who are getting rid of there season tickets because they have grown dissolutioned with the club and what's happening at it. One has actually sold it in January for £350 as he couldn't bare it any longer! Yes we all support the team but we will never ever support the FSW and if things go wrong he will get abused and boo'd as we don't care about rafa and he don't care about us! The sooner the season finishes and this useless tactically inept school teach has gone the better. One thin I won't do and condemn the ones who do is booing a player off a pitch! I've been at he last load of home games since Demba Ba has been in be squad and the a use Torres has got from sections of the Matthew Harding stand has been awful and really is pointless as he will his tony want to touch the ball and will feel even worse out on that pitch! He might be having a bad time at present and has never really shone here but he needs out support and I will always support the boys who wear the blue jersey until the day they leave. Plus when we are set up to all of Torres' weakness' and none of his strengths it's plain to see he will never score goals like he used to. So I guess what I'm saying is yes I will support my team and players but never ever will I support the FSW as he is just bringing us down and just doesn't belong at this club.

I was ready to support him. I gave him the chance to buy me and other fans over completely with results, his much touted experience and tactical nous. And ofcos he said he would, but that is a dream too far. He is way too clueless, much more than i thought and with him still in charge, making this tactical errors and polluting the blue atmosphere with his presence week in and out,am begining to fear the worse.

@Johnny...check the stats please, I am still doing my compilation...but since rafa tenure at liverpool he has NEVER had a winning run...except the seaon when liverpool finished second where he won 9 out of the last ten league games....with this are the sort of patterns that are very regular within his historical terms of games won (W) drawn (D) and games lost (L).... 1.W-W-D-D-L 2.W-L-L-W-D 3 D-D-D-D-L 4.-W-D-W-L-L 5.D-W-W-L-D...those kind of patterns the variations are endless....the guys doe not belong here and i just hope and pray we finish top4....

I like a certain sentence in the article, it is just my opinion, yes it is, others are entitled to theirs and let us keep it that way, just support the team with the songs and I hope rafa leaves us as soon as its may
