No Space for Torres?

No Space for Torres?

Is it a surprise that Fernando Torres has been left out of the latest Spanish squad by Vicente Del Bosque?

Although many suggest his form has been, if we`re being kind, patchy, the fact that he has scored 15 goals could well have been seen as enough to warrant inclusion.

However, when you acknowledge that Spain sometimes don`t play with a striker is there a real need for his conclusion.

Del Bosque, commenting on Torres admission, offered this brief comment to the media,

"Torres is one of our most experienced players, but we could not find a space for him now."

Nor apparently was there one for Michu, another Spaniard amongst the goals in the Premier League!

Torres will never be nominated in the spanish team again, I am thinking he won't be part of the contingent going to brazil in 2014, I think he is history with the la roja as far as I am concerned.

Del Bosque is a very biased manager. I doubt he would succeed in any other team other than spain. How can you call up villa but not call up michu

Torres knows in his heart of hearts that he dosent merit a place in La Roja but calling up David Villa and not Michu is a rel head scratcher. @Ken4CFC in all seriousness El nino may want to consider male modelling once he hangs up his boots. One constant he has been able to maintain even as his form has deserted him aer his good looks hence the annoying nicknames like Blondie and Goldilocks.

It serves Blondie right;I pray Anzhi gets intoxicated so that they can sign him come end of the season.

Mata and Azpi deserve their places and that £50m flop does not comes as no surprise plus there is no space for him at Chelsea.

No surprise at all. For his contribution and aptitude he would struggle to get into a League 1 side just now.

Azpi will actually get the space since he has proved that he can be a defender at chelsea.
