Luiz - I Guess He`s Fit Then!

Before the prestigious friendly against Brazil last night, one of our many former bosses, Luis Felipe Scolari, had intimated that he`d be very careful with regards to the selection of David Luiz.

Going into the fixture, Luiz had been absent from the last couple of Chelsea matches, courtesy of what was being reported as a calf strain.

Scolari had intimated that Luiz would be given a fitness test and not risked if there was any chance of a premature return hampering his chances of a quick Chelsea return.

Well we can only hope that Luiz passed that test with flying colours, because not only did he start for brazil last night, he led his country out as their captain, produced a performance that more than matched most of his Chelsea career and on this evidence, he should walk straight back into the starting eleven for the clash with Wigan this Saturday!

He and Oscar looked like Brazil's best two players on the night to me, very satisfying to see!

Luiz would be welcomed back, I think we can use him to spell some of our players, when the afcon duo are back too, we'll be good, all we need to do is get ourselves knocked out of the europa and face the EPL, I am very worried about the arses and spuds.. And liverpool are climbing too... Chelsea players cmmon!!!

I must confess. I just loved David. His passion is only second to Terrys' in the whole team. Welcome back Luiz.

David Luiz is also now a big favorite to become the permanent captain of brazil ahead of the world in 2014. Him and Thiago Silva. That no easy accomplishment. He is now proving that we folking out 25mil for him wont be a wasted venture.
