Pre-Season - It`s South East Asia

Chelsea have announced that the pre-season tour for the season 2013/2014 will be to the Far East.

The tour will see Chelsea play matches in Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia.

Plugging the tour Ron Gourlay has remarked,

"South East Asia remains home to an ever-growing and passionate Chelsea support and it gives me great pleasure that we will again be able to experience that wonderful hospitality."

Here at Vital Chelsea we`d like to add that the tour will also give some of our members, a membership that covers all corners of the globe, the chance to see Chelsea live - enjoy the experience.

Hopefully Kuala Lumpur will be one of the destinations once more. I went to see the team played in 2003 and 2011, but never got the chance to meet the players. Hopefully I'll get my chance this year

Sounds great, the last time we had pre season in Asia we won the champions league!!! Does the Amsterdam tournament still exist, I think we should participate. It will give us a proper test.

In 2004, we ended up 4th in the league, and Roman bought the club. Last year we finally won the CL. I believe due to the climate in this region, pre-season preparation in our region will bring wonders to players physical condition. Maybe a quadruple this time round? Keep believing

I am always skceptical at the quality of teams that we play when we go to asia, but as the asian fans have opined earlier, I agree we are lucky after the exercise there and to add that we'll get more merchandise sold and get more global support, I wish they make south america and africa their next destination after asia
