'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Which of the Two?

Now here`s one for you to ponder over!

The red-top tabloid press is alive with some quotes that are attributed to the Liverpool striker Luis Suarez.

Suarez has hinted that despite all the individual success he`s enjoying at Liverpool, he could be looking for a move away from Anfield if Liverpool do not qualify for the Champions League this season, reportedly confirming something the football world has known for a few years,

"We will see at the end of the season what Liverpool`s position is - we`re not the Liverpool of old."

So here`s the $64,000 question for you - In an ideal world who would you prefer to sign, a Premier League wise Suarez or a prolific Falcao who is, as yet, untried in the toughest league in the world?

Falcao...I've already had my fix of liverpool strikers......

Given our "wonderful" levels of popularity it has to be Suarez. Can you imagine if one of the most hated players on the planet signed for Chelsea? The press would have a field day! On a more serious note I'd take Suarez over Falcao as he's prem proven and will be cheaper, but the negative publicity involved might make it a political bomb waiting to go off

This notion of premier league proven is bulls.hit.We bought a prem proven Torres leaving an untested Aguero for £50mil and look were we are today. On the subject matter though I would take Suarez based on his style of play

Suarez >£40m, Falcao >£45m, they are both too expensive I would go for a cheaper option, all the players we ever signed for >30m were s*** so go for a cheaper option. Robert Lewandowski, Stevan Jovetic, Leandro Damião, Diego Costa etc.

Suares is disliked cos he is an ugly cheat. A cheat at every level. Scum in my language. For this reason alone he cannot be considered, almost a worse decision than tubby *****. Also as stated by mutters, surely not another x-scouser! sick to bootle with 'em all we are. As for the world not liking us, it ain't becos we are cheating scum, suares would create a whole new demographic of chelsea haters

Suarez or falcao? I have always wanted falcao but given the choice, i would go for Suarez. The mistake we are making with the torres comparism is that as at the time when we signed torres, he has already peaked and together with the injuries he had then was already on a downward ride in form. He was no longer the clinical finisher that he once was. Falcao on the hand is at his peak presently and wont get better than he is now. However Suarez is almost getting into the class of the falcaos and the RVPs and is still far from hitting his peak. His movement upfront is deadly and there is the added advantage that he can play as a second striker and on the wings. So imho, he is of more value for £40million than falcao.

However their is no need raising our hopes over suarez cos liverpool would sell him to other european big teams for half the price than sell to us for any amount. Not after the torres debacle.

Prefer neither as too expensive, but suarez any day on the week: not as many goals maybe but he is THE complete striker and whoever he plays against he causes them problems

Falcao every day of the week. If we never buy sign another player/manager from Liverpool that is way too soon!

I would rather we spent the money more wisely. I'd prefer gong back to 4 strikers like those above us have. Ba, lukaku, icardi, schrulle. Any competent striker with mata, Oscar, and hazard behind them should score they don't have to cost the earth. Anyway, if we have to spend 30m + on a striker then it's higuain.

I want absolutely no one from thank you. That said i am not even convinced we are going on any significant spending spree in the summer. Let us wait and see where we end up at seasons end and then we have to see if Roman is willing to open his wallet again. This is no longer a given especially after what just transpired during this last transfer window.

Mutters has a point. Should we really be trying out luck with Liverpool strikers? I won't deny that I think he'd suit our team incredibly well, but on the other hand, I think he's a tosser. Rumours are Bayern are interested in him, and I'd prefer Falcao. But Suarez would be one heck of a purchase, but we'd have to pay close to £50million for him, and as good as I think he is, Falcao will be better value for that amount of money. And who wants a Cnut like Suarez in their squad anyway?

After seeing how bad Liverpool players turn out to be when asked to play at a higher level, NO to Suarez. As for Falcao, no to him as well. There have to be other options out there.

no to falcoa not to suarez....bcoz we have torres who used to play like falco during his childhood days and now he is getting hated like suarez in his old age days...will rather go for jovetic damio schrulle lewadonski....etc etc

I'd take Suarez because of his versatility. Falcao is a brilliant goal scorer no doubt but methinks he'd struggle when chances are not being created as often, yet with Suarez you can see him create goals and even score. Given we already have Demba Ba to score, Suarez would get my vote.....(I'd still marvel at Falcao though, he's movement in the 18area to find spaces is 2nd to none

I dont want Suarez at my club. Ive totally had my fill with Loserpool players coming here. The only one that tried to do a decent job for us was Raul. That said, Suarez would have been a better player for us than Falcao. How i wish we had bought Suarez for 25mill when we spent that 50mil on Torres. Last season wouldnt have been that hard and this season would have been way better. Imagine Suarez with our current crop of players....crikey!!!!
