'If It's Football, It's Vital'

A Mask!

Scanning the internet yesterday one little snippet of news caught my eye.

Published on the BBC site, it intimated that Demba Ba was flying to Italy to undertake a fitting session for a protective guard for his broken nose.

The idea being that a protective guard would enable him to participate in the fixture against Wigan this Saturday.

If everything goes to plan, Ba would join the likes of Petr Cech and John Terry, of the current squad, who have donned facial protection to enable participation in crucial matches.

Fair play to you Demba, it would have been so easy to just sit on the side-lines biding his time, going that extra-mile shows just how much pulling on that blue-shirt, even though he`s a new boy.

Yeah... Demba posted a picture of him and the club doctor on board a flight on their way to Italy. This guy really wants to play and earn his money. Hope it works out well for u.

Wish him a speedy recovery

couldnt get back soon enough...I dread watching Porres coming onto the pitch these days

In his first interview he said something like "Whichever club I join they pay me money and I do my best for them ".>>> Basically he said he wants to EARN his money by giving his all for ANY club who he plays for.>>>Honest guy, it will be much better if everybody is honest like Ba.-------After that injury against Newcastle he is my favourite Chelsea player.

I really like this guy. He shows the right attitude and he does the right things on and off the pitch. We haven't seen enough of him as yet and Tubby's rotation doesn't help that situation. Really looking forward to him returning to the pitch, with a mask if necessary to make that happen sooner.

In a word the lad is a warrior..the same term Mata used to describe Drogba and which he pointedly did not use in describing El Nino. Ability, skill and talent are all good but it takes a different level of heart and commitment to play the way people like JT, Drogs, Cech, Lamps etc have played for us. These guys will give 110% and will place their health in jeopardy to go that extra mile for the good of the team. I was sold on Ba when after taking a full force kick to the face against NewCastle he stood there on the pitch, got stitched up right there and actually tried to continue playing before ongoing bleeding stopped him. That is heart, desire and grit..one either has it or you dont and that is what i like Mata calls being a "warrior".

Yeah great player and brother. I hope you'll get well and show your real skills :)
Prettyguy
I really like this guy and his commitment.

Players like BA is what we need for chelsea henceforth, how much is this guy earning? 70-75k and he is willing to risk body damage, opposed to players who earn 175k and u wonder if they reallu love the club, players like ba would be the difference in winning trophies in future, as the world is now filled with insanely talented players, that character and spirit and love for the club u play for will be the difference....... Offtopic..... Have any one sit up and notice that italy is resurging? Check out milans forward line and their defence, all they need is a playmaker to make them world beaters again, next season's champions league will be fiercer than this season's, if we qualify we have to be at our best

Wish him a quick recovery and retrospectively speaking, that foul should have been a straight red and a penalty.
