Brazilian Deal?

Are we in the market for another Brazilian?

One leading tabloid seems to think so intimating that Chelsea are looking towards springing a surprise move for the Santos youngster Neilton

Just nineteen years of age, Neilton is quoted as being the next Neymar (who in turn is quoted as being the next Messi).

Neilton has sprung to prominence on the back of a wonderful hat-trick he scored in the Copa Sao Paulo junior semi-final, against Palmeiras.

Rumoured to have a buy-out clause of just 5 million, can we, as the tabloid expects, hold off the challenge of Manchester United to boost the Brazilian contingent at Stamford Bridge even further?

I am unimpressed. Why get all worked up over a so called "new Neymar" when the original Neymar himself hasnt done squat for Country nor proved he can even cut it in Europe. Besides we have way too many of these youngsters that we arent doing anything with anyway.

Jordan Henderson at 20m is an English talent. Not forgetting 35m Andy Carroll. Should have kept Sturridge.

We should still allow him to develop, if we need more south americans we should lool into argentina, colombia and uruguay who have incredible untapped players as strikers and wingers, germany are producing fantastic players too and spain, if we need to spend 5 million, then we should use it to get perhaps 15 year olds for the academy just to plan ahead for FFP, perhaps one day we'll have a coach that would be smart enough to believe in them.

We have a certain joao rodriguez,a colombian teenage prodigy, who imressed against arsenal u18 who is by far better than this unknown and expensive brazilian. Besides,we have Feruz who is starring for the u18-s as well as for the Scotland u21-s and who is imho a much more finished striker than Neymar himself and if he keeps his down-to-earth and industrious attitude we might have an unpolished diamond in our hands.

Nonsense and utter garbage. From what i have seen of Neymar in the last 2 - 3 games for brazil, the lad is over hyped to high heavens. against Cahill and Smalling he did not have a sniff to showboat and perform unnecessary tricks against typical EPL no nonsense defender. With performances like this, I will be shocked if anyone bid more than 10m for this guy and if this Neilton is being touted as the next Neymar we should not be bidding more than 2m for the guy.
