That Ba Mask

That Ba Mask

Following on from our little piece yesterday, relating to Demba Ba travelling to Italy to acquire a face mask, we have a little more to offer.

It seems that Ba acquired the said mask and has trained, back at Cobham, wearing it. It looks as if Rafa Benitez now has to make a straight choice between selecting Demba or opting for Fernando Torres when we face Wigan Athletic on Saturday.

However, as is often the case when players acquire extras we understand that the face mask, which will protect the nose he broke up at Newcastle last Saturday, has been customized and bears his name and number.

Whatever next, replica masks on sale in the club shop!

Read it in the news room yesterday and saw a coupla tweets about it on twitter, if he is fit to play I think rafa should play him, we need our strongest players in all the remaining EPL fixtures so we can cement our place in top 4, rumour have it that if rafa did not win today's game he'll be booted out, for his sake I hope his brain haemorrage have cleared and make us achieve top 3, I can't imagine we were once almost a point behind city 3 weeks ago, sighs. Ba ahead of torres for me if he is fit, torres can take the europa league on thursday
