Roberto Martinez?

Roberto Martinez?

With the tabloid press almost insistent that if Rafa Benitez loses today then he`s going to get the chop, one popular newspaper has intimated that a surprise candidate may be the next to take the hot-seat.

It`s inferring that the popular young Spaniard, currently managing Wigan, Roberto Martinez is seen as a decent choice after doing wonders at a club where the budget is very tight.

We believe that Martinez was sounded out by Liverpool in the summer but decided to stay at the DW Stadium,

Would he be lured by a move to SW6?

What would your feelings be about Martinez taking over the hot-seat?

With Roman you never know but to replace Benitez with Martinez in my mind would be absolute lunacy.

I don't think martinez would leave his secured post at wigan to come and commit harakiri to his managerial career. I'll rather us recall RDM or rijkaard

Spanish Bob. Interesting choice of candidate. Heaven knows why he is so highly rated. I'd rather we bring back Clarkey than him but it'll be interesting to see him in action at SW6.

Only candidates from England are Moyes & Laudrup but I think Roman will go for a manager who has European experience like Klopp, Simeone, Bielsa, Conte, Luciano Spalletti or Pellegrini.

clarke moyes martinez and rdm are one class no european experience.chelsea do not breed try n error managers they enhance what they know.so stop this crap news.to me i think pelegrinie bielsa spalleti are the obvious choice.rdm was never a good manager,he took a team who were already in advanced stage of ucl.when he started on this season we know what happened.sold n loaned players to make space 4 egos around him happy.thats the price.
