Brick by Brick?

Is there a concerted campaign to build a new dynasty, at Stamford Bridge, by removing the old one brick by brick?

With Drogba gone and Lampard going, is John Terry the next to be ousted?

Just recently, you feel there has been a growing friction between JT and the interim gaffer and today one Sunday red-top publishes some quotes from a club source that infer that JT and Rafa had a bust up after Chelsea slid to a last minute defeat against Newcastle, at St James Park.

It`s mentioned that Rafa thought JT was at fault for two of the three goals with the club source commenting about the ensuing dressing room row,

"The manager was furious after losing in the last minute and made it clear he wasn`t happy with John`s performance."

"He also reckoned that John wasn`t fit enough after three months out of action."

"JT wasn`t happy about the criticism and had a go back at the boss in front of all the other players in the dressing room."

"Everyone was stunned by the way the manager singled out JT. It was not the way he is usually spoken to at Chelsea."

The changing of the guard, it would appear, continues.

If that appears to be true then i think it is wrong , not because it is jt or what benitez did was wrong but it was not only terry who had a bad day although you can say his mistakes didnt help the cause if i can remember ivanovic did not have the best of days

Rafa was right.JT wasn't fit and dived in on the halfway line, when we were leading 2-1,giving away the second goal.

It doesnt sound like a great idea phasing out an entire generation(a glorious one for that matter) in that manner. Not that it has anything to do with the alleged bust up with the manager and JT,but it doesnt sound like a good plan. That doesnt mean the manager cant let it out on a player or the entire team if he wants to,he is entitled to that. I dont think there is a connivance between the board and the coach in this one as the title of the article seem to suggest.

I dont think this has anything to do with the board or Roman. this is simply the way Rafa is..he is generally a rather abrasive character as far as how he generally relates to his players. Hopefully it is just a spur of the moment bust up and both forget it quickly and get back to the business of working for the best of the side.

am sorry Merlin bt I don't agree with u, benitez is just a low life muppet who's got no clue. What the hell is benayoen still doing in our team wen we've got talented youngs guys whom he can give mins after a game is won like against brentford 2day.

If he bursts up with terry and the stamford bridge faithfuls gets wind of it, it will trigger more abusive vituperations from them to him, the fans are gradually boycotting the games from the empty seats I saw in today's game, or was it brentford's?

There is no truth in it,its Lazy journalism at work again, those crappy media are tryin as much as they can to cause unrest in the chelsea camp,am glad rafa gave them a perfect reply by startin JT and JT also smashed their faces with the goal today

To me it looks like the club are breaking up the old spine season by season. Last summer drogba this summer lampard. I guess summer after cole then terry after that and finally Cech at the end.
