Terry Sets the Record Straight!

It was much ado about nothing, it would seem.

Stories of a rift between John Terry and Rafa Benitez that appeared in the morning press appear to be nothing but scurrilous journalism.

Following the hard fought 4-0 win over Brentford, John, when asked by the ITV interviewers, put the record straight, remarking,

'I read those stories in the paper but it is completely lazy journalism. The other two players have been playing well and I've been out for a few months. It's complete rubbish.'

We`re relieved to hear it JT.

CAPTAIN, LEADER, LEGEND. Do you think Terry is dumb? Anybody would understand bench role when seeking match fitness. Stupid press, can't stop trying to destabilize our club.

Utter garbage and lazy journalism. Can't remember who broke the news exactly, but I think it came out of The Sun.

There might be no smoke without fire, what do we expect him to say? Yea, tubby is kant who doesn't get his share of the blame? No he'll be diplomatic so we won't be in another crisis for the final hurdle to the end of the season, rafa can have a go at terry, he did it with arne riise, remember? The own goal at anfield? Yea, so anything can happen, but I admire terry's character, he diffused the bomb the media were aiming at us, perhaps they want to derail our season.

The Media probably jumped on the news because JT was an unused sub against Prague. Rafa's comments about JT's fitness propelled their laziness for in depth details. Reports say Chelsea will sue the media outlet that broke the news,I hope they do. We need to be more confronting and more hard on this media outlets that try to divide us.

I agree with u @nely,we need to set an example with one or two media outlets

While other manager would put JT's name first on the teamsheet, it looks like Rafa doesn't. My personal opinion, i'm afraid this has hardly anything to do with his injury, but rather a personal vedetta of Rafa, or being instructed. Like Desmondadonis ays, there's no smoke without fire.

Lamps can maybe learn from this...Leader, Legend...he could have used the media to gain his place back in the side by staying silent or just been michievous with details but this just says it all about Terry and why he will be a chelsea legend forever...the team is more important than any individual
JohnnyOz
and JT will be back in the starting 11 because on top form he is our best defender...no need to start off any dressing room shannanigans because the manager wanted him back to full fitness before he regained his place....Thanks JT
