'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Inquisitive Questioning Fails to Faze Cech

Like a dog with a rag stuck between its teeth, the press are refusing to let go of the reputed dressing room showdown that`s supposed to have happened recently.

The latest to face some inquisitive questioning, about the subject, was Petr Cech with the Czech keeper fielding the question very well when confronted head-on by reporters following the 1-0 win over West Brom, with the keeper remarking,

"We have had a lot of success thanks to the honesty and open mind everyone has in the dressing room. Everybody should have a chance to express an opinion."

"It helps because communication is a very big part of this football club. If you have wrong communication in your relationship it can fall apart."

"This is the moment when we are not doing exactly as we want to do but we are willing to change the situation. Everyone, coaching staff, us, is trying to change it."

"Obviously we have only one boss. That is the manager and it is up to him if he wants to listen to what the players say or find his own way to go through."

Can anyone think of a better answer?

Player power is so ugly.

Very well said Cech, couldn't have said it any better. The most impressive answer to the journos question was when he was quizzed about the atmosphere. He replied: "I'm so focused on the game that I hardly understand what the people sing or shout or what they do.". That's talking about the least involved player on the pitch. Lol

Haha, Petr Cech true legend, out of all of them he'll be the one who I'll be the saddest to go... He's right the fans have every right to sing about past managers who have brought the club success and it seems that as a senior member of the squad they would like stability too.
Splint1976
As i always say about Petr..a very wise man..his words are few but well chosen and seasoned with wisdom.

Cech is someone I admire for the way he conducts himself and his apparent honesty.. He is one loyal servant to the club and with him in form, I have confidence that we'll be difficult to beat, on the issue of the article he is right, savvy

he should go also.he seems big headed this days.dont like his attitude.him and mikeal should follow lamps n terry out of cfc.they are a disgrace to modern football.
mzee69
Calm down mzee69,this one should stay but the rest can go
Ken4CFC
@Mzee. Well how about you go support some other club ei? Fans like you are exactly what's wrong with modern football. Just in case you don't know, there's something called 'showing respect to servants of the club'.
nelyvanile
We lose Terry & Lamps, the club will be in a better place "atmospherically"
@Mq
well said nelyvanile....the hypocrisy on this site is sometimes drowning. some so called fans are ready to cast out people who have bleed for the club to attain success and at the same time defend people who done absolutely nothing for the club but drag us down. this only happens on VC
