Five Year Deal for Ghanaian!

Speculation had linked us with signing the Ghana international, Christian Atsu.

Now unless I`ve missed something I`m not sure he actually put pen-to-paper.

Well it appears he has done so now signing a five year contract and talking about doing so has commented,

'When Chelsea came for me, I saw a good opportunity to work with a massive club and a great coach.'

It`s great to have you on board young man.

Well merlin, except I'm missing something myself, Christian signed on 31st August, about four days ago and was immediately farmed out to our friends @Vitesse. He's way more direct and pacier than Victor Moses and gifted with more guile and technique, and pretty much hugs the line better than the Nigerian. Safe to say he brings Barca's Christian Tello and Sporting's Bruma [or, pardon the premature stretch, ManUre's Nani] to mind. Fingers crossed how he turns out for the Eredivisie outfit though.

You're welcome merlin ;) That's a pretty safe stance to take Ken4, and trust me it's perfectly understandable - but why not look up the brighter side pal? Lad is just 21, has a decade ahead of him, and if you will, can take it to the bank that he is no Alan Smith, Charmakh, Gervinho, Andy Carroll, Bebe, Stewart Downing, Obertan or, heck, no Franco Di Santo, Michael Manciene nor Steve Sidwell...if you catch my drift ;)

Willian(25),mata(24),hazard(22),schurrle(22),kdb(21 or 22),oscar(21),moses(22),notable mentions-kakuta(??),piazon and thorgan,so we are overstocked for the future in atsu's position..it would take a miracle for the ghanian to make the cut here.

@hgh i've really been following this guy at porto and the ghanaian national team,and i can bet i've watched him more times than you have.And i think you're a bit over-exaggerating.He's got some mad pace,mad energy and physicality but he's poor technically.I can tell or ask a ghanaian fan,he isnt among the top two wingers in the ghanaian national team at the moment.He's young with potentials and can only improve though.Wish him the best and hopefully he'll be good enough for chelsea in the future.

A certain Mubarak wakaso 22yrs of ghana and espanyol is overall a better winger than atsu and commands a starting place ahead of atsu in the ghanaian national team.

HGH Magic- another personal attack? I have watched his videos and there is absolutely nothing that makes me think he is any better than even Moses. And 21 is not 16, he is not even at the level when Kalou arrived here as 21. Its safe to say he will never make it to CFC first team unless something miraculous happens. But what can we say, 3 million is like a Change for Roman, picking up roadside bargains and hoping they will hit Jackpot some day!
