Watford Secure McEachran Deal

Having missed out on taking Nathaniel Chalobah on loan, for a second season, Watford have secured the services of another Chelsea youngster.

Gianfranco Zola has secured a deal whereby Josh McEachran will go to Vicarage Road, on loan, until 2nd January 2014.

McEachran, who was on loan at Middlesbrough last season, will join up with Watford on Saturday evening.

I really hope Josh stille have a carrer in Chelsea. Our team needs more Chelsea boys in the squad. Him and Nathaniel Chalobah will be Chelseas new cult heros if the can get it right

Good move! Been wondering if he was ever going to leave on loan this season. He needs to keep playing lots of game which I think he would get at watford. Wish him a great season ahead and I hope he hones his skill even more. I believe he knows what is at stake at Chelsea

brilliant, hopefully works some of his magic. No more defensive midfield, let him go forward and play as an attacking midfielder.

Unfortunately, Josh is under pressure...he really needs to prove something to both CFC and to himself...I watched a U-21 game he played for CFC last week and he was great..but I gotta tell you..he looks like a feather could knock him over...this kid is fragile looking. He really needs to get a nutritionist and hit the weight room. Eat some protein...Josh...gezzz...Josh's problem is his stamina over a long season as he just wears out...also...due to the position that he plays..he needs to prove that he can defend a little and not be a defensive liability. Josh has great technical and passing skills. It's his physical abilities that are in question...Which is this kid not in the weight room? Maybe it is all in his head? Josh are you willing to step forward and do what you have to do? I hope your hitting the weights...

BTW, Josh, your going to be passed over by Ruben Loftus Cheek real soon if you don't get your act together.

Josh doesn't need to hit the weight room. He only needs to increase the guile with which he moves and uses his body. While also being mentally toughened. How much body does oscar, iniesta, pirlo or even mata have?? But their movement and guile on the ball is nothing short of amazing

Psycho - surely brilliant, but he'll need some otherworldly "magic" if he's to make it past MvG, Romeu, Chalobah and Ake, or the emerging Loftus-Cheek in the pecking order, except, of course, guys with no room for improvement and/or development like Mikel, Lamps and Essien make way next summer! Simples ;)

Wish him all the best. Hopes he shines there and thinks of greener pastures outside CFC because he is way past his debut date (Ancelotti regarded him as first team ready). Kakuta should also follow suit as they would have been most definitely class acts had Ancelotti remained.
