'If It's Football, It's Vital'

It`s an 8,000 Fine

Having been charged by the Football Association, with improper conduct, Jose Mourinho didn`t get punished as badly as we thought he might.

Forced to sit in the stand, after a vocal fracas with the referee, Anthony Taylor, Jose didn`t appeal against the charge and was subsequently fined 8,000.

More importantly, the punishment means that Jose can be in the dg-out this Sunday when we welcome Manchester City to Stamford Bridge,

Speaking about the punishment, Jose is quoted as having remarked,

'I accept the fine and against Manchester City I can work."

'What the referee wrote is true. I wasn't aggressive, I wasn't offensive, I just had a disagreement.'

'[Referee Taylor] is honest and fair [in the report].'

'What he writes is exactly what happened and exactly why I didn't understand why I went to the stands. And it's exactly why the punishment is just a fine.'

A result all round then I`d say!

Fair enough! And loads of maturity in Jose's reply to the punishment handed to him by the FA. Punishment handed,8000 quids fine, and punishment accepted...now we move on,the focus on Citeh.

He would take consolation in the fact that he would have a seat on sunday; obviously 8k is a devastating blow to his finances.
